i control my munchies by pigging out on someing normal sized so i get full quick. lethargy is back in style! most gamers i know are laid back in personality, and dont do too much physical things. maybe the here and there game who wont buy more than 3 games will get up and active for awhile, but i dont wanna.

Hey, who ever said you had to be standing up to use the Wii? As long as you can swing your arm around a bit I'm sure it'll work just as well sitting down
Still, I'm sure there will be a fair amount of layed back games for the Wii like SSBB (which you cant even play with the Wiimote)
Besides, wouldn't pointing at stuff on the screen enhance the experience? ;)

Anyone hear that wii will be able to work with a pc monitor?
I think that's cool.I don't have a tv in my room anymore just a tv tuner.Playing console games on my monitor has always been a b!tch.
@anubis you been a member longer than that.Your page says april 2005 which is far from november.

@anubis not really.Trying play a console on a monitor is difficult and doesn't produce great results.I am aware on the adapter boxes which suck and the tv tuners that do ok but none take adavntage of a monitors ability by plugging strait into it.
Most tv tuners don't even look as good as standard definition tv.But my monitor can support high res(and so can yours and everyone elses)Now granted wii can only support 480p but that will still look much better than a emulated tv tuner image and won't have a delay.

Finest hour is not cod2.Ok your right your pc could not handle cod2 anyways.
cod was only on the pc.The they made some sorry excuses for cod and called it finest hour and big red one. These are not the real cod 1&2. The real cod 1 is only for pc and the real cod2 is for pc and xbox360 only. Why might you ask? because the ps2 and xbox don't have the power to play the real cod's.Stupid huh? But activision wants moh gone because Ea owns moh.

I got big red one and finest hour and they both blew compaired to the real cod's.I actually think big red one was better by far than finest hour.
I love moh.Frontline was one of the best war games ever.It has been dubbed the first "realistic" war game by many. Think of how old this game is in terms of games years(like dog years lol).I like all the moh's some are better than others but they are all descent games.
I like moh and cod because there fun and you can get hit alot before dieing as where ghost recon's,socom's....etc It's like 3 hits.

I dunno what wiki means when they say it will work with monitors. It has no out put source for monitors so who knows maybe I misinterpreted it.
"Video" in the specs section :http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii
@sully A regular vga monitor. Some newer monitor's have the dvi but that still won't work with current gen consoles(ps2,xbox,gcn).However some of the newer consoles have either dvi or hdmi output so you could just get an hdmi to dvi adapter.
Right now my gfx card(radeon x800)only outputs dvi but my monitor has a vga port only, so my gfx card came with an adapter.
It may not be as much of a problem now but the wii doesn't have dvi or hdmi output.
Btw it doesn't matter in many cases even if you do have the right connectors on your monitor because it will look like crap. It's hard to explain but this is where dscaler comes it.Descaler deinterlaces and scales the input(your console) to the resolution of the monitor.

the wii will probably take japan, since those japanese love to get up and dance when playing (look at ddr). they also love to sacrifice quality for price, something i and most of my fellows will not do. the ds blows, imo, both grafics and gameplay, yet it sells well cuz its cheaper. the psp is alot nicer and i enjoy it more by far, but it really needs a dam*ed price drop, its been what, a year and a half or more? its time we saw a 200 dollard value pac and a 150 basic pack (unreleased out of japan, release there cuz they are cheap).

Tsk, tsk - not a nice thing to say about the Japanese. And since Sony is Japanese too are you saying this also applies to the Sony crowd in Japan?
