mickoz, my settings are as follows:
cpu clock xmb: default make it (300/150)
cpu clock game: default make it (333/166)
USb device: memory stick
ISO video mount: none (this is for mounting umd downloaded movies to play through the video option on the psp home page as a umd video with any umd disc to run, it will then play the umd movie in the ISO Video folder)

Hello,
My psp is currently run on 5.50 genB, and I'm trying to get the Soul Calibur Broken Destiny (JAP) to work, but when I started the game, it just said "error code 80020148 the game could not be started". Any idea on how to solve this, you guys ?
Thank you.

You downgrade to m33...with GEN-B you seriously can only play/use around 50% of cfw apps/games out there.
So your telling me that, if you drop a PSP on the ground it will break!? WOW! I never knew :P

Hi. I have a PSP Phat 1004 Series, 5.00 m33-6 custom firmware. Downloaded 1.50 kernel addon for 5.00 m33, installed it but the games (Fifa 2010 for example) still don't work. What did i do wrong? Is there a way to verify if I installed the addon corectly?
Edit: Nvm. After hard surfing the web i found the key :P. I had to get a program 2 decrypt the game for my version cus it was for a higher version.

Like everyone else on this thread, I too am getting the same error message when trying to play a game from my memory stick. Here's what I got: A PSP 1001 with a 16GB Sony Magic Gate Mark 2 stick, running CFW 5.50 Gen D2. Hopefully I can get some help, I'm still fairly new at manipulating my PSP. Thanks in advance everyone!
Meh.

OK no problem, stickies are the top five threads in bold on the psp forum. it does explain a lot and why they do things, also the basic guides then ask the questions the guides don't answer. will save you a lot of time and stop a lot of grief from other members and mods.
