Vice City Stories and Ace Combat X firmware?

I was wondering if anyone knows what firmware will be required to play Vice City Stories and Ace Combat X. Right now, my PSP is 1.5 and I'm emulating 2.71 through Devhook. I've already reserved Vice City Stories, but if it requires something higher than 2.71 firmware, I'm gonna see if they will let me get Ace Combat instead (assuming it works on 2.71).

Nobody knows for sure man, we just gotta wait, developers & Sony can be quite surprising at times, dunno bout Ace Combat but I presume VCS will require 2.80
|

Vice City will probably pop out with 2.81 but if 3.0 is released then it will most likly be 3.0

more then likely it wont be 3.0 becuz i think they already started pressing the games.

not me i love it. i was so happy to be able to emulate newer firmwares. one of the biggest breakthroughs in homebrew and still one of the most popular.

just try 2.71 if that dosent work then your out of luck since we cant do 2.81 yet

ace combat x along with medal of honor works with devhook perfectly.....vice city dunno though

I have 1.5 with devhook .46.
What setting are you guys using?
I tried CPU 222, 333 on 2.71 and 2.6 and it wouldnt load.
Maybe a different address I should be using?

Ace Combat is 2.81, just remove the update and you should be fine. It works great with my Devhook 46, with no problem.

here it is:
UMD SELECT - "game title".iso/cso (select the Game You're gonna play)
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx-> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222/111 (333 if you dont use wifi and/or have few games)
BOOT SELECT - reboot XMB
OTHER > REMOTE CTRL - "No Change"
OTHER > preload address - "No Change" (89000000) default
OTHER > USB OPTION - ON if you use USB and loads ISO from PC
OTHER > SCREENSHOT OPTION - "No Change" Disabled by default
its on the stickies

I also HAD an update folder.
So im sure that was my problem.
PowerISO whacked it and im gonna give it another shot now.

Thanks Bladework about 3 days ago I quit looking for Medal of Honor for PSP and up until I read this thread I did not know it was 2.71. Anyways Thanks for the info
