Simple question are you getting Wii or PS3. The thread will end at the Wii's launch date (November 19 in North America). Just type Wii or PS3 and ill add up the results on the 19th (since afterdawn has no poll).
Ok heres the results.
Wii: 6 votes
PS3: 2 votes
The winner is obviously the wii but it was however as face123 said in the Wii section so they will obviously say the Wii.

Well of coarse it would be the ps3 but it is under the wii section so you cant realy make fun of the wii or else...

lol I put it in the Wii section because its what I wanted to get but now that I see it I guess its kinda unfair. But people are still voting for ps3 so whatever.

But anyway, i say Wii cause its cheap, but Ps3 is UBER expensive and you need to buy everything seperate, but then again.. i have bought all PS in the past... ive had PSX and PS2... so i wouldnt be surprised, ill vote next year when i get one of them :D

Either way, I've got my deposit down on the PS9, complete with it's intereactive spores that go into your brain to simulate the game.
*Sad, but true story*-
Employees of game stores at the time of the system's launch were honestly inundated with calls from consumers who genuinely believed that the PS9 was a real product and were actually ANGRY with the employees who told them it did not exist. As amusing as the commercial was, it was the bane of existence for electronics retail employees for about six months. Good times.

The best part is: You're thinking in NOW terms, not THEN terms. That makes it even DUMBER.
You see, NOW ps2 is nearing it's end. But THEN ps2 was the brand spankin' newest thing out there. So, the people who believed it were even dumber for that.
But really, I think it comes down to the fact that a lot of parents just new that their kids wanted "The new playstation", so they probably didn't know any better after seeing the commercials. Even though there was a PS2 logo after that, it was very minimal, and probably flew right by a lot of customer's heads.

i already have a 360, which i am enjoying very much with games like cod 3 and gears of war, now i think i will buy a wii, and then when ps3 releases in march i will probably buy that.
PS3 specs may look better than xbox 360 but i am yet to see a game on the PS3 that looks better than any of the top end xbox 360 games such as gears of war, mass effect and halo 3.

The PS3 launch line up is poop. If you get a wii and by the time you have rescued princess Zelda, maybe the PS3 will cut the worthless blue ray out and cut the cost by about 300 bucks and then it will be worth it

i remeber them saying that they were going to make us pay more for the ps3 because of the Blu-ray,but then put it down to 600 and said
they were going to make a profit by making the games cost more.

Well, if you've been following gaming news well; you'll know that PS3 games are starting in around $70 a pop msrp. Sony and EA have actually stated they feel a 'need' to charge seventy bucks now (For lower quality games in EA's recent case) for next-gen games. Better yet, Sony's Japanese game pricing equivilates to $100us per game. And many sources have indicated that EA and Sony feel the US market should head in that direction as well.

Wii.
Ps3 has too many problems right now; I mean people are saying after a few days the rubber on the joysticks starts ripping I wonder how good the Inside Parts of the console are if the joysticks cant even stand normal use.
Wii currently is great it runs smooth no faults great games and upcomming games the best nintendo has had I mean whan has Nintendo Had a Game like The Godfather or Scarface!,there are rumours that KH3 might come to the Wii,You get web browsing,news,Weather,Old games,Mp3 player,Video Player,Picture viewer and Editor,Email Composer,A Full Introductory game.all for 250us.
