Thank's for the input though!!!!!!
boy you show don't know how to get back to people rookie..I explained all that to you from jump that if they was goin to give you a Evga board it had to be a Evga 780i Part# 132-CK-NF78-A1 cause you only have ddr2 800 you can't put 800 in the other board..They new that b4 you did unless the person don't know what there talking about..just stick with the asus it will run 1066 when you can afford some to get..
@ddp

Yea....I know that's how I got cyberpower to up me from striker extreme to , striker II formula.....Or more to the point the E-Mail address I got from BBB is what got cyberpower to change board model's !!!! but thank's for caring enough to post other's might need help and read this.....but I'm also going to cntact one of the 3 lawyer firm's that wanted to take the case against cyberpower , if I choose to go forward's........ but were getting ahead of our self's at this point, I'm thinking happy thought's and chanting it will work.....it will work....
and that will do for now , there's no reason to work up a ulcer about it yet!!!!

I'm sorry about cap's I us them to stress a point.....
and yes I knew that the EVGA 132-YW=E178-A1 took different ram I was hoping they'd up it too!!!
And I'd like to make a observation abou this forum : since I started posting here [about a month or so ago ] I've been complanted to about spelling , grammer , and now about cap's do you people bitch to people in real life like that?????
I mean I could bich about , abbevations. I can't make heads or tail of that crap!!!! or I could bitch about how some of you are RUDE M*****F*****'s!!!!
but I don't !!!!!, I look at the info in the post and use it as intended, either to help me ,or other's , I don't take nothing personal and I don't mean to offend any one but I'm getting real tired of the the people who think their way Is the only way............so basicly if you don't like the way I type , and feel the need to talk down to me or to criticize , do it in a nice way and if that don't work for you , and you still feel the need to act superior to me and treat me like your child well then you can just piss off!!!! cause I gave up diaper's years ago
And this post is meant only to those who keep jumping on my typeing style ,
NOT to the rest of you , because the rest of you have been very kind and helpfull!!!
sorry if I offended anyone

haskins69, contacting the BBB would be the first step if it doesn't work out.
I would call the State Attorney Generals Office. They only have to make it work at stock speeds unless they guaranteed more, but if it won't and they can't make it work, under the law you are entitled to a refund. You would do well to sit down and set up a history from when you got it and any paperwork you might have to show you took it in to them because of problems!

I'm using a couple of sticks of these below. I have them running just slightly out of spec with spec voltages. Many boards that I've had in the past only allowed memory voltage increases of .5 which meant that if I wanted to increase voltages it would have to go from 2.10 to 2.15. This board allows increases of .1V which means if I had to I could go 2.10,2.11,2.12 an on like that. I am however just running them at their suggested voltage of 2.10. I could increase everything a little bit and probably run stable at 4.0 GHz but at 3.84 GHz it's Prime stable and the speed gains at 4.0 gHz would be negligible.

Heh, that'd be like any other DFI board then Rob. There are lots of features in the BIOS of my mate's RDX200 that I can't understand even from an electronic point of view... All 'on or off' settings too...

Bigwill:
Like I said I hope I didn't offend anyone , and most people here have tried to be very heplfull , I enjoy the closeness of this site , and for me that's a lot cause for the most part I'm a loner and just started using forum's a while ago because of my issues with cyberpower and ASUS , and I found I needed the help of other's who might be or have been dealing with the same issues , because I wasn't getting help from cyberpower or ASUS , other than "here change your $300.00 board with this $300.00 board" , which was nice of cyberpower . But I believe that if they would of took the time to trouble shoot the board's, instead of just changing them ,I wouldn't of went though 7 so far in 11 months. Hell if they would of trouble shoot them , they might have learned some thing and I might of to!!!! I really feel that the issues with the striker series is in the BIOS setting's, since I've read some people have luck with them after some updating ,and tweaking the BIOS. I know very little about these settings, meaning I don't know which to change and in what order, but I do know that all The striker extremes I had were posting CPU and memory voltages below nominal value, now it's been years since I've used my electronics knowledge [ex Navy aviation electronics tech] but I do remember that when a switch type device is ran below nominal voltage it act's like a capasitor, leading to surges in current and voltage , instead of a steady flow ......but they just wanted to change part's go figure..........again hope I didn't offend anyone....later

And you run your system with 10 hours of Prime95 running Short ffts and then compare that to 3mark.
