However, It is not working on my DS. I have manually set up the IP to be one digit higher than the Router, set subnet mask same as router, set gateway and dns same as router. I have my SSID properly set also. But My DS cannot connect, I have to unplug the router and plug it back in just for my ds to pick up a signal which it soon loses. I have tried several different programs on the DS to connect with but none work.
in the asus wlan card setup program, go to config, encryption, and check the network authentication. i think it should be shared for it to work with the ds and maybe change the channel to 11

I have got a problem. I used the soft AP for 2 weeks and all works fine. And suddenly this day he said during connection: error code 52101. I am sure I didn't change anything in the config settings etc. The only thing i did that day was trying Win2DS (thats a program of homebrew to control your computer with the ds) In the morning the wifi still works and in the afternoon it gives the error..

The computer has this day a update. You know a bar with: We will restart the computer to instal new updates in 5 minutes or something. So i restarted the computer.

Sorry for my bad english but i am from the netherlands ;)
Does annybody have the same problem with the wifi since 19-12?

I really don't know what to do...

greets,
Lucas

nope no problems here, check network connections and make sure internet connection shairng is enabled on your internet line. it does occasionally stop sharing when something happens to the modem whether its restarted or updated

In Finnish, it says "Sovelluksen alustus epäonnistui (0x0000005). Lopeta sovellus valitsemalla OK."

I can't translate it, sorry :( But error is 0xc0000005. I did it with these instructions.

Edit: Oh, someone have the same problem..

Hey, I'm trying to do the Nintendo wi-fi hack. I've followed the steps so far, I've got the modded drivers working, so my Nintendo wi-fi is now picked up as a Buffalo, but I'm having trouble on the next step, installing the ASUS control center, it crashes when it's run, saying "The application failed the initialize properly (0x0000005)". I've also tried installing the Buffalo Client Manager V, but at the end of the installation, it says "install failed" and when you try to run the program, it tells you the same thing. HELP!!

go to config in the ASUS WLAN card settings

Under Basic check the Channel and put it to 11
then go encryption and change Network Authentication to shared

and see what happens

when I open up the ASUS WLAN Control Center, i only have 4 tabs under the config option. when I click on the soft ap tab i get the following message. access violation at address 0057403f in module 'wireless.exe'. read of address 027a3744. also in the soft ap tab my local area connection doesn't show up. i am using win xp sp2. under the properties of my local area connection, in the advanced tab, there is no internet connection sharing options at all.

i think you have it set as to auto obtain IP instead of manually setting the IP address of the Application

go to network connections>wireless network connection (the buffalo adaptor)>richt click and click properties>under the general tab look for Internet Protocol and click properties

then make sure its "Use this IP address"
and put in 192.168.0.1 for ip address and
255.255.255.0 as subnet mask.

if the wii is recognised trying to connect to the pc then it might be on the wii's end. have you tried searching for the nintendo device on the wii and then it should test connection then ask to update. if it finds it but cant connect its on the pc end. Check network connections and see if the nintendo device is being shard a connection.

I have done it all twice and both times i got my psp to pick up the connection when i scanned it said 100% but when i pressed test connection it said a connection could not be established.... so then i deleted it re-did it and got the same problem, so then i looked for the differences in what i did and the video, it pops up new hardware nintendo wifi connector, not the buffalo wlan thingy, i deleted all nintendo software first then downloaded the file it says on pg 1 then plugged in the connector, and my internet does not have the wireless picture it does on the video, i would show you but i forgot how to do that :( , if anyone could help me it would be grately appreciated

set the conexao local as shared and nintendo adapter as not being shared and try to see if the wii will connect to the net now

Whenever I try to open the asus program it says there is no wireless lan card inserted, the utility will open when the card is inserted. The usb adapter with the modded buffalo drivers are installed is plugged in. What should I do?
