Please post drivers for use with this method that are Vista x64 compatible.
The NETU2G54.inf in the rar package will not work w/x64.

When it said to put an WEP on the manual settings... I had no idea what to do.. you didn't show how to get a WEP.
I have a modem.

to set up a WEP, go to encryption, change the data encryption to WEP, and either make your own WEP passcode, or click on the automatic generation, write down what it says either in key 1,2,3 or 4, and select your default key (the one you wrote down)

k. I got a few questions...
- the ip address and the subnet mask for the computer or the Wireless Network Connection?
- How do i get the gateway?
- How do i get the primary dns?
What should i put for...
- IP ADDRESS
- SUBNET MASK
- GATEWAY
- PRIMARY (OR/AND SECONDARY)DNS
thank you.

@ Zypher_X
im guessing you inputting the ip and everything into your ds?
IP address:the ip address you put into the device 192.168.0.xx
replace xx with any 2 digits.
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
gateway: 192.168.0.1
primary DNS: 192.168.01
secondary DNS is not needed so you leave it blank
the gateway and primary DNS is the ip address of the NWCUSBAP and the ip address is the number assigned to the device
this should work, if any problems occur just post them and ill try and answer them
oh and by the way, the ip address you assign to device, the last 2 digits must be different for each one others it wont work

try turning hide SSID off, then doing an auto scan on your ds. if it picks the signal up just change the ip address from auto to 192.168.0.xx and see if that works

this happened to me once, try setting it up again on the ds, so set up connection 2 or 3, do a auto-scan and put in the ip address again before it tests the connection

Quote: it dint work
hmm i have a few things left in mind
1. make sure the device is allowed to access internet if you have any firewalls blocking it.
2. enter the ds' mac address into the allow list.
3. stand really close to the access point
4. unplug the NWCUSBAP and plug it in again and try it again
5. keep on trying
im not certain how i managed to get it to work but doing something like that did make it work, good luck :)

Okay I've been getting the same "Cannot Copy Driver To System Directory" that everyone else seems to be getting. Only problem is that I'm SURE I've copied the usb.sys file to the system32 directory. I've copied it, recopied it, then re-recopied it. It's there. Still getting the error. Anyone know any way to fix this?
EDIT: After a reboot, some MORE recopying, and some threats to shoot the computer, it finally decided to work -_-

I've been having some problems with my PSP and wifi lately. When I want to connect I have to do it 5 or 6 times because it says the access point is not detected. It works fine with my GF's wifi router so I don't think it's the PSP.
Anybody know what could cause that?

PLEASE HELP ME!!
BTW, Saint, if you have an MSN send me your e-mail or add mine.

Hey, I'm trying to do the Nintendo wi-fi hack. I've followed the steps so far, I've got the modded drivers working, so my Nintendo wi-fi is now picked up as a Buffalo, but I'm having trouble on the next step, installing the ASUS control center, it crashes when it's run, saying "The application failed the initialize properly (0x0000005)". I've also tried installing the Buffalo Client Manager V, but at the end of the installation, it says "install failed" and when you try to run the program, it tells you the same thing. HELP!!

Yarghh! I've been trying this for hours!!!! But nothing works!
I've followed the steps to heart!
I've done everything exactly as I am supposed too!
I can even locate the USB thing by scaning!
But As soon as I test my connection, in claims that It can't find it!
I geta 51300 or 51301 error, which nintendo claims is WEP key issue, even though I am not using one!
Anyone have any idea what could have gone wrong?
EDIT::::Dear god, I don't know what I did, but its working?!
I was aimlessly messing around with the ASUS program, and I tried to save a 2nd configuration with some of the settings I changed, though I knew it was futile, since those settings didn't work before. But to my dismay, when I got back to the setting page, the SoftAP, and possibly all my other settings were reset. So I checked SoftAP, nothing else, applied, did a Auto-Scan with my DS, and for some strange reason, it worked. I have no clue as to why. I try my PSP, and then put some encryption on it. I'll cross my fingers!
