Lol, I'm not banning anyone. Just because fern148 and jazo1234's comments aren't agreeable to you doesn't mean they should be banned.
Go ahead and post the email addy and I'll see if it's within the rules. I'm not accusing anyone but keep in mind that advertising of any sort isn't allowed in the forums ;)
Interestingly while browsing newegg's selection of MP3 players this evening (I'm quite liking the Samsung YP-Z5Z at the moment) I found they're selling an ipod knockoff. The reviews, much like the opinions in this thread, are quite mixed,

O no no no! Thats not a copy ipod. Thats an..... I don't know but difently not a copy ipod.
Better yet instead of posting the e-mail just right off they sent me a micrsoft excel thingy with all the prices and pictures of there mp3 players on it. Can I post it here so everyone can see it?

Let's just put it this way: If you want a piece of crap, buy one, if not, then don't buy one. If you want a reliable player worth your money buy something else.

ok I got one thing to say to all you people saying "its a peice of crap player, its a garbage player, cheap china player" and whatever else you guys are callling it.
First of where do you think the apple ipod nano is made? Um lets think about it for awhille...tick....tick....tick O! I think I know. Is it CHINA!!!
Thats correct, both players are made in CHINA. Meaning waht makes the quality any different?

It may have been made in China...I never said anything about that. But you can't be telling me that this player is better than or just as good as an iPod? I'd rather have a shuffle than this thing.

dude who gives a crap about the brand name just cuz it says ipod on it doesnt make it any betta. tis fake nano is even betta cuz it got video. i mean if u wanna have ur own opinion "just cuz its not brand name" its cool but think man its all made in the same china so its all good, just the one wit ipod stamp on it is hella overpriced. so basically the only difference is the price, and the inspection done by apple company. i say i'm willing to sacrifice a lil bit of quality for the price. just take care of it and be careful wit it and u'll have a nice almost-ipod wit even more features for a fraction of de price. i traded my 512mb ipod shuffle for a fake nano wit 2gb, it should be comin in de mail today, i'll letcha guyz know wut i think of it. aiite pce

lol it's amazing. i think we've got a few people a little envious and slightly upset about not getting the same features and more for a much lower price. no coincidence everybody going "no i wouldn't buy that, it's wrong blah blah blah" are all ipod owners.
to anyone who doesn't have one, used one, or touched one and is talking down, you're you're blabbering on about something you have absolutely no clue about. you've seen pictures, you heard some reviews from people who actually DO own it, and you wanna offer your opinion like you have even the slightest clue what you're talking about.
I'm done with this thread personally, just going around in circles. the people who tried it said "hey you know what, i tried it and it was worth it."
and that's where I still stand. I tried it, and it was worth it. would i do it again? yes.

yeh i agree wit ebay, my shuffle sucked pretty badly i would rather have a fake nano too well actually i would rather have a fake nano than a real nano too, cuz it has more features and is cheaper. i dont see whats so hard for people to understand dat

I feal you! I would rather have a mypod then a ipod nano.
For a mater of fact, I was just about to buy a nano 1GB from ebay when I was looking on ebay and ran into thes mypods. Well I thought, um...I don't want one of these because its just cheaper and besides it problly dosen't look anything like a nano. But then my brother keep saying the apple ipod nano doesn't play videos. I was thinking yes they do and why would apple do something like that. Why creat a new ipod and not include the vido feature. So I asked my friend if his nano had video on it. He said no.
So I decided that sence these mypods has video, radio, and microphone features I would purchase one. And Thats how I got mine!

yeh das cool i thot dat too, ipod nano has video but after looking up de mypods or wuteva i found out of all de extra abilities. just it doesnt have a clickwheel but who needs one neways, my friends' mp3 players dont have a clickwheel & they pretty happy wit em. dis has whole buncha features like fm radio recorder, voice recorder etc etc it seem pretty nice now i just gota wait for de mailman

yea its cool!
But the only thing is it doesn't have a click wheel. I would rather have a wheel like on the mypods, becuase its hard to land on stuff with the click wheel.

nah i didnt buy a 1GB player because i dont think its really worth it because I use mine to watch movies and cartoons and ya wouldnt fit much on a 1gb player

This thread could go back and forth till the end of time. There are some folks who don't mind paying more for a product if they feel it'll give them peace of mind and others are perfectly happy buying the clones. Neither are right and neither are wrong - it all boils down to personal preference and opinion. I don't really see the point of going back and forth any more :)

I have this FAKE ipod nano. It's actully better than the actual nano. I wish they had it for ipod video. Than i wouldn't have to spend $400 buck buying my ipod.
