hay smurf sorry to stray from the subjecy be could you send me a ling to the device your using to do ingame snapshots if the one you use dose do ingame snapshot
thank i just cant find one that will work ingame :(
only on xmb screen :(

zulucal -> the one link that BlkMagic1 posted will work, it's a more updated version of what i was using, plus u just have to make sure you edit the right files for devhook so it'll work ingame aswell as XMB plus that link allows you to make .gif movies of xmb or ingame.

well...
(i just exchanged my psp for a new one because the little door thing where the games go wasn't closing properly)
i read through this thread, and what i got out of it was if i have version 1.5, i can get something called devhook, then i will be able to play iso files, -but heres my problem i still want to be able to play the games that i own, so this thing you guys suggest 3.03 a-oe, can i play both with this?? annnnd could you please tell me the risks of what i would be doing...if there is any chance at all of effin up my psp...i would rather stick with just the store bought games

you could play both with devhook but you just say that you should use 3.03 oe-a because its the latest thing out and devhook is a pain going back and forth in firmwares but with the custom firmware you dont

alright, so im incredibly stupid and dont know what to do. I have version 1.5 on my psp, and i want to be able to play the games i own and iso files (if iso files are games you put on your ms, i think they are...) so could one of you beautiful and intelligent people please point me in the right direction?!?! please keep in mind though that when explaining things you must explain them to me as if i were an infant,
please help im useless

yes there are recovery methods also created by dark alex if somehow you mess it up and it bricks

...i only upgraded my psp to 3.02 OE-A though...i might do the rest later,
i have one last question though:
how do i play games through a usb cable?? I must know, please someone give me a hand i can't figure it out!.!

the usb method isn't supported yet sadly soon though maybe through the next psphost

i lie like a cheap rug...i have another question:
so i have downloaded some games and some of them worked, but some i could not find the iso or cso file for them...for the ones that worked i would go into WinRAR and there would be a folder called iso, i would extract the file in it then put it in the iso/cso folder in my ms, all fine and dandy.
now for the ones that i couldnt get to work, when i would go into WinRAR there would be no folder called iso or cso, and i have searched through i think every folder in these ones, there would be a folder called PSP GAME, and a thing called UMD_DATA.BIN, if i cick on PSP GAME there will be a folder called SYSDIR and USRDIR, along with things called icon(folowed by a #) , pic(followed by a #, SND0.at3...-(inside the SYSDIR folder there is UPDATE folder, BOOT.BIN, and EBOOT.bin,- and in the USRDIR folder there two things: LIBFONT.PRX, and REGFILE.CDI
((((ps. im not sure if al the games i cant get to work are exactly like this, this is just one of them))))
so what i am trying to ask you is: how the hell do i play these games!!!!

ragnarok i dont know why it says that but cossitt the psp_game and umd data is what the iso is made of so what you are going inside is an iso
