Pioneer DVR-1910LS and Clonecd problems..

ok had the new pioneer DVR-1910LS installed and is working fine except for one thing.
I made a 1:1 image of Strange Wilderness with Clonecd 5.3.1.0 and intend to burn it with Clonecd but I get a message asking me if I want to try Overburning. Why is this if I am using a Verb DL disc? It has plenty of space as it is a blank DL disc.
What settings do I need to change to fix this.
I replaced my old Pioneer DVR-108 because it could no longer burn DL discs and now this problem.
This is the message I received.....IMAGE doesn't fit on destination disc!
Space available: 7859 Mbyte (126:14:33 Min:Sec:Fra)
Space required: 4482 Mbyte (254:1:29 Min:Sec:Fra)
Please select how to procede
Try to Overburn
Write until the end of the media is reached
What can I do to fix this?
I am also using the latest AnyDvd 6.4.2.6

yes but the output file from Clonecd after it i done ripping is 7.67gb which is what I want to burn onto the +R DL disc but it's acting like the DL disc is a regular +R disc.I want to burn a 1:1 clone of the movie to retain everything from the original.

Have you tried to just rip it to your HDD with AnyDVD and then burn with Imgburn?

well I know that will work but the reason I wanted to burn with Clonecd was to retail the original Layer Break which no other program can do.
I was thinking of something that I'm not sure will work.I was thinking of getting the Layer Break info from Clonecd and inserting that in IMGBURN in the section where it asks you if you want IMGBURN to calculate optimal Layer Break of if you want to enter the numbers manually.I wonder if that would work as another solution to retaining the original Layer Break from the movie.

yes but will it retain the original lyer break is what I want to know because if it doesn't the movie will more than likely freeze for a couple of seconds or skip.

Are you using cloneCD ? that's for CDs. CloneDVD is for DVDs
Perhaps that is your problem.

The guide in Imgburn will help you creat the optimum layer break.

no I've used Clonecd for DVD's as well and have never had problems like this before.

thanks Iluvendo I'm trying the method you suggested.Ripping right now.Hopefully this works out as I have already wasted plenty DL discs on both my old drive and now this new drive.

Singapore .Only the best will do for me.
I also have some Sony's that code out as Ritek. My first choice is always Verb.

JoeRyan, the disc guru here at aD told me the Riteks dl +R 2.4x were ok

If you rip the disc with Imgburn in read mode using AnyDVD in the background to create an ISO the original layer break should be retained. Then you simply choose the .MDS to burn from as it contains the layer break info.

The reason you are wasting discs is because of the discs you are using. Verbatim MIS only for DL projects.

yeah I checked the firmware and updated to the newest version today which is 1.01.
I ran out of the Verb already from my old drive.I've never had problems with these discs which are Sony's which code out as Ritek.

yeah worked great.I always use them and only use Verb's for a top of the line movie.
