Please bear with me.. I just cant get my Eurovox box to work, I got home last night and it just sat there saying "please wait updating code"

As I'm living in the Dublin 5 area and N*L is my cable provider, I tried entering the codes as listed here in earlier posts

Provider 54 01
00 = A0 12 65 BD 72 33 FB BC
01 = C0 FE 0D FB 2C A4 B0 FB

But when I try to search for channels, it just sits there telling me that there is no transponder to search.

When I check the information of the box it tells me this

DVB-XC BOX TDA
1.0 STC4 MAR15 2007
2.0t MAR15 2007
V002

If any of your good folks can tell me what the heck is going on and how to fix it, I'd be very appreciative.

Try it the old and trusty way:

They have changed the keyroll method and auto update will not work for now so you have to manually input keys everytime they change:

Lateset codes for NTL are:

00-5B 74 36 A3 B2 30 CB 46
01-54 0D 81 09 F9 6E 17 F9

1. Press Menu, press OK on language settings.
2. Press 1968 TWICE on your remote.
3. Key screen will open, use the < or > button on remote to get to Nagravision screen if it is not visible.
4. Press OK on N**. Go down to key data field and enter codes for line 00 first. Use < or > arrows on remote to change numbers/letters.
5. When done press blue button to save and exit.
6. Now scroll down to second N** line and press OK.
7. Do same as above and change key data field for line 01.
8. Press blue button to save and exit.
9. Exit out all the way to view channels.

Have you deleted your channel list by mistake, ie have you done a factory reset mistakenly?

Dublin 5 is N** and not Ch**us so 54 01 is correct. 5E 01 is for Ch**us.

Press menu, installation, user installation. You should see 13 frequencies, (TPs), in there. Do you?

NO you havent.Press menu, installation, user installation, press yellow for powerscan. Input 6887 as provider ID, start freq range at 291.000 end at 403.000. After powerscan has completed go back into user installation and press the red button to update channels.

Bear in mind that you should make sure you have also the correct codes in place.

Haven't got a clue as to why this is happening, or not happening more to the point, I changed the Provider I.D to 6887 as you said to, when I go to the user installation the new start frequencies are loaded but the powerscan finds noting, and when i push the red button, it just says "no transponder to scan"

This is driving me nuts...

Might be a silly question but is your feed ok and is all connections a snug fit?

And do you subscribe to any of your providers services?

have you poped the box open to see if any dry or loose joints?

The reason I ask I hear that the 2GEN Eurovox Max V is not as well made as the 1GEN Eurovox Max V Boxes.

I am just wondering wether you have a short circuit or dry/loose joint at the board where the feed goes for your signal... but I might be looking into it to much.

From what I can gather and please quote me if I am wrong you need the new firmware in your box, and it seems that your box is not receiving a signal hence no transponder... personally if I was you I would reflash your box with the latest and enter the codes manually. Obviously if this doesnt work it can really only be a hardware issue or a fault at server providers end which would sort itself out.
