I have made about 15 coasters trying to get a cdloader to work. I have been able to get the Olsfan dvdloader to work, but it is just a swap magic 3.0 cd version.
I have read everything I could find for the last two weeks and there is nothing left to read so here goes..
First I followed the instructions for buring the cdloader from swapmagicfix and I followed the instruction on loading. I placed the smcdv3 in to tray, using slide tool I open the tray and swap the smcd3 with the cdloader disk and the screens boarder changes to kind of a pink with lines (although I have tried about a million different ways)
I have tried DVD Decryptor, Alcohol 120, Nero, Game x copy,
I have never had a problem backing up a game before the first was Hitman contracts, I have noticed others have had similar problems and were able to fix this, I have tried all other posted methods and still no luck.
I use HP dvd writer 300i and LG super multi dvd writer and have had no problem with games in the past, even some games that say they need a cdloader. I have a ps2 v5 or v6 I have used verbatin datalife plus cd-r, and memorex for the cdloader.
I set everything to burn at 1x
also if anyone knows an alternate source for a cdloader or dvdloader other than ps2ownz, as I got banned for clicking on the forum link apperently.

well...its prolly a media problem with the cd-r's, make sure u got it from ps2NFO.com its the best place

also make sure you have closed the tray ALL the way again with the slidecard

I have noticed I am unable to get any cd-r game to function on a ps2 v9/v10 swap magic dvd 2.0 & Swap magic 3.0 CD version 3.2 USA Build
Flashes red sceen then black and nothing
Sometimes it just goes black
HP DVD300i, LG Super Multi DVD, Memorex cd-r, Verbatim datalifeplus, memorex gold. Burn at 1x-4x
All I really want to get working is cdloader so I can back up newer games like Hitman Contracts

try dvd loader its more reliable...same as cdloader just on a dvd-r

I tried the dvd loader, It seems to be the same as the swap magic 3.0 cd version 3.2 usa build. Its was called olsfan dvdloader, is there a different one.

4 more disks, followed swap magic fix burnig guide. even had the pictures open to compare screens.
Still pink lines around the boared, also 3 different brands of cd-r

dvd loader is definentyl not the same as swap magics...
load swap magic dvd--> dvd loader --> game

i should have e-mailed you these instructions but i forgot.
unpack the file using winrar, then go to where you unpacked it to (default is your desktop)then open DVD Decrypter change it's mode to ISO. write, then click the little file icon then chose the DVD loader (the DVD loader icon won't be the usual DVD Decrypter icon it will be the winrar icon)once you have clicked the DVD loader change the burn speed to the slowest you can go (less risk of bad burn)then click the picture of a Hardrive then a arrow to a disk this will start to burn your DVD loader. hope this helps

worked a treat, now its just magic swap, dvd loader and Mafia and it comes on ok.

Nothing really, it was just spitting out the cd disc 9 times out of 10. When i got it to read eventually i had to put in cd loader eject, swap magic dvd disc then Mafia game. This is dvd loader is just quicker. The only game that wont play is celeb death match, done a thread on it further back in the forum.

I just have one more question, the loader options menu is blank, if I need to load a specific fix how do I do that. Hitman Contracts worked fine

with your version 5/6 ps2 no options are needed.
