okay, i followed the tut, i have the standard microsoft xbox sahs appearing, the chip is turned off according to no light on it like the tut told me to do!can i take the chip out now and boot it back up?

once you are in os. Set up Ip then do ftp

nothing, there empty, this probably is my problem with this hard drive, can i just use backup of working softmod that i have on pc to transfer files into c and e of this hard drive now?

is the backup complete of C and E drive? When you xbox still worked and you backed them up?

If you think the backup is good, then transfer them to xbox
