Try going to 5.00 M33 then boot the PSP without the MS in it. After it boots place the MS in the PSP and enable the USB and transfer your MS files on PSP MS to your PC.

Now go to my computer on your PC and find your PSP MS listed and right click and format it FAT32. After it formats go to System Settings in XMB on PSP and then format it via System Settings. Now transfer your files back over to MS and see if it will turn on with MS inside during boot up.

Hi, I'm a newbie at this so please go easy.

I updated my old firmeare to 3.52 M33-4 with no problem and pasted the one stop update folders onto the memory stick.

I then went into Mux 2.0 and chose a box.

An x appeared in the box. The x is now stuck and I cannot therefore exit. The only way I can get off the Mux update screen is by turning off the psp. What am I doing wrong ?

I have a feeling I am missing something easy. Kernal is set to 3.52

If I do the above do I get the Dark alex folder and then the official one change the name and post it into Dark Alex folder.

If so where do i get the official one from or is there somewhere to dowmload from where this has been done.

Also will this update from 3.52 M33-4 all the way up ?

I have sold my PSP for an XBOX 360 so I will no longer be updating this thread. If anyone wants to take over feel free to download the images and files of the guide and start a new thread with them in it.

I might answer questions time to time but that will be the extent that will be done in this thread from now on.

I don't actually understand where your having the issue.

If your having issues downloading the files then I duno what to tell you. The downloads are working fine for me.

If your having issues extracting the file with WinRAR then you need to have both parts downloaded and in same directory before you can extract it.

Thanks for the reminder, I switched over the kernel from 150 to 352 and I was able to update to 500 with no problems.

Hi, I successfuly upgraded to 5.00 m33-4 based on the instruction provided.. Thank you much.

Is there any reason to do 1.50 add on for 5.00? I noticed that it was in the procedure as an option.

Thanks in advance for the reply.

I just installed 5.00 m344. Thanks to DA for the CFW and for making this thread. Quick question, now that I have this, in the future when there's a new CFW I can simply use my PSP's network update to get the latest version from DA correct?
