I didnt try it yet but the world is that Assassins Creed brotherhood, a Wave 9 game i think, does not work if patch to wave 2, the one i use to patch my games.
I have zero interest on Live, and i dont go online ever, so this method was for me the best option possible.
Lets hope for a software solution.

From what i have read the game wont work. There is the obvious ban issue, and there is also the need to update to the latest dashboard.
But there is some info about the game working on old consoles with specific drives.

Like i said, probably the game wont run.
But the best option is to test it, something i will be doing this weekend.
If someone is able to perform the test first, iŽl appreciate.

Thanks, it does have alot of features. It would be nice if it installed in English, although it says it has the english option, it's not.

I downloaded the new waves patcher, downloaded wave 3 (that's what I use for my 360) and after it fixed Assassins Creed brotherhood to wave 3 I burned it. Put it in my 360 and it worked!!!!

I remember that application a while back when I had to patch down, but it never worked for me so I used a manual method, I ended up making a tutorial, here

Tried the new version of wave patcher on AC Brotherhood, patched to wave 3 but it will not work. I am certain my 360 has a Liteon drive. The game starts to load but then a message stating I need an update to play this title.

ya i updated mine, got the new dash board and put it in and worked. but like i said i have a Hitachi 79 drive so could be one of the older ones that dose work, though i read that they should have the same problem as all the other drives. Either way its working now for me.

I accepted the update and my 360 now has the new dashboard (Kinect) but when I try the disc again it still states an update is required, if I accept the update it starts to install but fails with the progress bar at about halfway.

if you patch a game wave and then try to update from that disc it will not work. thats why patching waves is not recommended. fw is the best solution, or be patient and wait
If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

Patched the game with the program on the link above, to wave 2, and on a Liteon drive it asks for the update.
I didŽn t make it, don want to loose access to my other backups.
I guess iŽl have to wait form a new FW or a new wave patcher.

I thought Hitachi drives can boot any waves. Can you boot kinect games?
