360 waves patcher "wave converter for all firmwares"

Hi all.
I have a question about the patcher. I never use Live and i have no intention of doing it, so i wont be banned.
However the console is still under warranty and if i need to send it back will M$ be able to detect the use of the patcher and consequently void the warranty?

I've tried using this program and converting Splinter Cell Conviction to Wave 2.
I'm running on iXtreme 1.4 and have the latest firmware which supports USB memory cards,
but everytime i try to play the game it freezes on the intro video and says disc unreadable, i'm using Verb. discs burnt at 2x...
i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong, i can play recent games such as Metro 2033, BioShock2, Bad Company 2, AvP.

Okay, the guide on the first page is not very clear as to how to properly install this software. It took me a while to figure it out yesterday, and I thought I'd share how to do it properly.
First of all, after you download the program, don't double click on it. Rather, right click on it and us a program like WinRar to unzip the program. When you do so, you get a folder with some files in it and also about 4 other .zip archives. Now unzip those 4 zip archives. You should then have one main folder, with a few files and then 4 subfolders also with some unzipped files.
What you have to do is drag ALL of the files from within the subfolders into the main folder so ALL of the files are in one folder together.
Then simply double click on the main program called 360wavepatcher and you'll be good to go. After it opens, click on the small UK flag at the bottom left to get the program in English.
There you go. Now someone needs to send me a prize for letting you all know how to properly install this damn thing ;-)

i now see he did edit it out .but if u didn't reply i would of prolly never noticed it .. anyway i hope i can get dante's inferno to work now that game is driving me insane lol too bad i don't know what ixtreme i have :)) think wave 3 should do it if not oh well another dvd bites the dust :(

Yeah, the OP did edit it, but it's still not clear, IMO. He should have mentioned that ALL the files need to be in the same directory for the program to work properly.
Not sure why the files weren't just zipped in one directory to begin with!

Actually the file used to install normally by simply double clicking it, and if you go through the thread you'll see people helping each other.
The reason the help stopped was because of the same repetitive questions over and over again.

I edited the post and posted the best way to install as soon as i heard people were having problems installing.
The way i've described it is perfectly easy to follow and there is only the select few that can't understand it.

It says right there to move it where the other files are, so thats the directory isn't it?

dude i don't care rlly your program is not working i tried it on dante's inferno i tried it with wave 2 and wave 3 i burned 2 dvds (those are not cheap ya know ) and it keeps getin me into this god damn update loop wtf is that ? u need an update to play this game 'fine update ' the xbox restarts u need an update to play this game O.O i just did an update ! GOD DAMN U MICROSOFT!!!so what's that all about maybe u have an answer to that..oh and if you do pls reply me don't edit in the first post like EDIT : DANTE"S INFERNO DOES NOT WORK cause i'm not gonna notice that...

edit nvm well that makes perfect sense thank you i don't see how it helps me but thanks for clearing that out .. now HOW DO I GET IT TO WORK!!? do i copy the contents from the system update on a usb from the burned dvd what do i have to do to make this god damn game to work ? or are u saying i have to download the game again in it's orginal form open it with iso get the system update then patch it ??.. i'm confused..

Did you install the latest Dashboard version?
I´m using PPF-o-Matic to patch the games and they only asked for the update once, i dl it and install trough a usb-pen, and every game works perfectly.

to quote "Dashboard 2.0.8955.0" so i have no idea why i keep getin in that update loop it's like god doesn't want me to play that game ..i did everything u said and it didn't work i got the latest update i patched it to wave 3 i patched it to wave 2 i even tried something stupid like geting the update from the game onto a dvd and tried to update it manually before running the game i'm out of options what the hell is going on i had no problem downloading the wave files everything worked fine i got the waves through your program not from the site .. everything worked perfectly fine up until the i placed the dvd on my xbox it knows it's dante's inferno but i keep geting in that update loop .i'm crazy enough to try geting the game again and .. aa fuck this i'll just find a guy who can help me with that firmware upgrade ..

If your running old firmware and you don't patch then you wont be able to play the game.

I have tried using the abgx method sicman posted, as well as the program converter. I tried with Red Dead Redemption and Army of Two, 40th day. No matter what method I use, converting to wave 3, I just get the xbox symbol and the disc is read as a DVD.
Any ideas sicdude? If there is any info I should provide let me know. I do not know my firmware, but I know it plays Wave 3 games and When I tried COD MW2 back in december, it worked just fine.
I have done Red Dead and Army of Two using both the ABGX method and the wave patcher method. I even converted Army of Two to a Wave 2 game and it still only shows up as a DVD in the 360. The Wave files have downloaded within the program without a problem, and when i used the ABGX method I only used the PFI and Video files provided in the pack.
Once any of these games were inserted, they only show up as DVDs. I have put an original of Red Dead into the XBOX and updated the dashboard accordingly. Still, no dice. Wasted 6 DVDs so far, any help would be appreciated. Am I just not going to be able to do this?

Again i´m using PPF-o-Matic to patch the ISO. All of them work 100%.
Obviously doing this will get you banned as soon you connect to Live, but if that is not an issue give a try with it.
