It would help if you bought better media, that would explain the DDE you keep getting.
So it could be a simple media error >_>. Has anyone bought DL-DVDs from wesellcd.com cause they got verbatim so I might order some today?

Well I wonder what I could be doing wrong then....I feel like an idiot.
I clearly patched the games and they show up as INSERT IN AN XBOX 360....which would mean it's the wrong wave. Maybe I can't play even wave 2!? now i'm wondering...

Hello , i have ixtreme 1.4 i use patcher to patch bioshock2 from wave 4 to wave 2 , the game boots up on my xbox, the title game screen comes on, but animation in background freezes but still lets me choose start new game, then next screen comes on it says choose difficulty as soon as i press easy , medium or hard the game totally freezes i hear the disc in the drive start to try to access its making a kind of grinding noise , i use cheap media not verbatim. do i need to use verbatims ? the same cheap disks always work b4 on all my other old games ? last game i burnt was WWE smackdown 2010.it works fine ?

I had the same problem. I had a 1.4 and the converted games would freeze (unconverted games such as wave 3s played normally and never froze). I wouldn't be able to use my xbox for about 30 minutes after these freezes. It may be a sign that your xbox is on approaching RROD. This is what happened to mine, it was a 2006 model.
Anyway since then I have bought a new Jasper Arcade and had it flashed with 1.6. This plays the same converted games that froze on my 2006 xbox without any problems. So I wouldn't say it was your media that is the problem, though trying another brand may be worth a go I wouldn't get your hopes up.

This solution is brilliant and works perfectly! I just tried a game called Resonance of Fate and it works like a charm in Wave 2 on an imation DVD+R DL!

hi im new to this but yea i downloaded ff xiii
and it duznt wanna play i set it on the wave patcher and it says its wave 2 already. so i ran it through abgx and its says in red wave 4 game coldnt fix and that type of junk saying it was wave 4 not 2. idk what the problem is. the dadhboard is the latest firmware. i dont really care about stealth patching due to im already banned
help???

Hi
I've used the program to patch Resonance of Fate to wave 2, however I still persist in getting the "Play DVD" error. My dashboard is v8507, could this be the problem? Also, my drive is capable of playing up to wave 3 (bayonetta worked fine), so should I be patching to wave 3 instead?

Hi guys ,
I have 1.6 and Modern w 2 work fine ,as well as Assassins creed 2 .But I've downloaded Army of the two 2 and some other wave 4 are not working ,any explanation ? and I've tried to path the ISO to wave 3 ,burn it on IMATION DVD-DL ,did the system update ,but I have the error message :'clean you Disc error..."any help ? thnx

I got Just Caus 2 to work after patching it to wave2
1. if you get stuck on the update error/loop- update the system with a USB.
(IMPORTANT)
don't get the update files from the disk it will be missing certain files to make the USB update boot or not be recognize so nothing will happen if you plug it in using those files.
Download the files from the xbox-web site.
When you download the files make sure the $SystemUpdate is not in two folders but in just one when you put the file in your USB example: F:\$SystemUpdate\(update files)
If its in two folders like this F:\$SystemUpdate\$SystemUpdate\(update files) the xbox won't boot it so nothing will happen.
2.Make sure that your USB is Formatted to FAT or FAT32
You can check by plugging in your USB in the 360, go to your music or picture Library then click on Portable Device. If your USB shows up then its compatible.
3. Put the USB in your PC and place the System file inside then, put USB back into the 360 without the game inside and turn it on..

Throw the imation discs away and get verbs or arita.

okay i tried burning Bioshock 2 after i ran it through abgx and patched with patcher. I put it in the xbox and it worked. i clicked on play bioshock 2 and it went through the regular screens but after the "2k Marin" sign it just froze on a black screen. any idea?
btw i'm using TDK DVD+R DL's never tried them before. Would the media be the problem here?

okay i burned Darksiders on the same TDK DVD+R DL and it worked. I tried running Bioshock 2 again and after some persistence it worked. Think it was just a bad rip.....AWESOME PROGRAM

hi all i seem to be having problems installing this on to my pc - from what i can make out it gets past the 1st green tick when installing and im guessing its connecting to a server it errors out and aborts.
any suggestions would be much appreciated

maybe someone could help me here....banned console, think its 1.51 firmware (noob not sure how to tell) just converted MLB 2k10 to wave 3 but it says it needs to update system to run game - did some research, found that update was safe to do, but after update system resets and continues to say it needs to update - just runs in a loop....tried without hdd and updated, got game 2 run...problem is I cannot save games without hdd, any suggestions and help greatly appreciated

read up more on update loop issue...tried to use cd and usb method for doing update from game with no luck, any ideas? is it possible to remove update from iso before burning? sorry for the noobness

ok didnt get an answer so decided to rent game - this installed update correctly, now I can play the backup without the update loop - just in case anybody else was also having this problem

im having major issues trying to install the wave patcher
i have unzipped the files fine, but then there are 2 files
360WavesPatcher_v1.1_Install
WavesData_Package
the waves data package is fine.
When i try the 360WavesPatcher_v.1.1_Install file i get the following error message
Echec de l'ouverture du fichier
c:\users\myusername\AppData\Local\Temp\WD_B4DF.tmp\Install.zip
L'installation est abandonee.
There WD_ part changes every time i try to do it
If anyone can point in my the right direction it would be great
im running win 7 ultimate 32bit
