Hi All i have downloaded Assassins Creed Brotherhood and trying to patch it to wave 2 but its not working. I can see the image on open tray in xbox 360 console. but when i press Play game its throwing "Unrecognizable disc". When i patched with 360waves patcher it showed me an error that it is an "Unkwown Wave Format. patching the iso may result in useless......" something like that. But still i have patched it to "Wave2" and games not working. I have updated the latest dashboard through USB. Nothing is working. and the last game i have writed was "Castlevania: Lords of shadow" it worked smoothly. Any help here desperately waiting to play AC Brotherhood. And the firmware i still have is ixtreme 1.5 lite-on drive. from past 1 year i was able to convert all games to wave 2 and able to play them. Dont know what the problem is exactly.

You need new FW, the only FW that can read AP25 is LT+ (not availible for Hytachi drive yet). LT+ will also boot any wave so no need to waves patch

Thanks dude for your reply.. But i am unable to upgrade to latest firmware. dont know why but my xbox is not able to latest firmware. :(... And i heard about the ANti Piracy 25 patch which degarades the iso to AntiPiracy 20. Will this really works had anyone tried.. i am trying it today.. any suggestions please let me know

And i heard about the ANti Piracy 25 patch which degarades the iso to AntiPiracy 20. Will this really works had anyone tried.. i am trying it today.. any suggestions please let me know

I may be wrong but even with the latest firmware I think that you would still have to patch newer games from AP25 to AP20. The latest firmware should stop the need to downgrade the waves. As for the patching I thought ABGX360 did this automatically, can anybody confirm these as there are a lot of disagreement with 360 forums!!

Thanks, it does have alot of features. It would be nice if it installed in English, although it says it has the english option, it's not.
yeh its not in english so i dont understand how to navigate around the menus, so I will use the one in the original post 1.
Banned on iX1.5 Liteon. Currently wants to buy a new xbox but does not understand how all this flashing works and will not pay £40 to get this xbox flashed again.

I have done Red Dead and Army of Two using both the ABGX method and the wave patcher method. I even converted Army of Two to a Wave 2 game and it still only shows up as a DVD in the 360. The Wave files have downloaded within the program without a problem, and when i used the ABGX method I only used the PFI and Video files provided in the pack.
Once any of these games were inserted, they only show up as DVDs. I have put an original of Red Dead into the XBOX and updated the dashboard accordingly. Still, no dice. Wasted 6 DVDs so far, any help would be appreciated. Am I just not going to be able to do this?
Did you ever get a fix for this? I am having the same problems.

does an iso patched by abgx cause problems with wave patcher patching isos down to wave 3, i have an original hitachi 079 drive with 1.4 firmware and havnt ever updated the firmware again so ive always used wave patcher, my brother d/loaded isos of the games i own so i can let the kids use them instead of the originals but he ran them through abgx so he can use them online but when i use wave patcher i get play dvd instead of games i do the same thing as usual and burn with imgburn on the same dvds ive always used but dead rising 2 and batman gotham city dont work is this due to abgx pacthing causing conflict with wave patcher

last iso i d/l and patched with wave patcher was halo ostd and that worked fine??
also ive updated to kinetic dashboard and still doesnt work

This doesn't seem to work anymore. I have firmware version 1.51 and downloaded the update for Tekken 6 from XBox live. I already sucessfully patches several games to wave with this (for example BlazBlue Calamity Trigger) but now I always get the message that the wave 3 data is corrupt when trying to download it.
I deleted my old version and downloaded the new one, but I cannot install it anymore cause I always get a French error message. I downloaded this again from link, but I still get the exact same message:

this is not working for me all, i know is that i have an Hitachi drive the firmware i wouldn't know because i wasn't the one who flashed it but, i did what the guide said and I'm getting unrecognized disk i tried to burn red dead redemption and gta episodes still nothing i use abgx360 after i patch it and wen i burn it still unrecognized disc or "open tray" i think i patched red dead to wave 3 & wave 2. the game started and then froze can someone help please

I have a quick question regarding Wave Patching, the AP2.5 and the newer FirmWares. I have been reading the forums but I'm having trouble finding a straightforward answer to my dilemma.
My firmware is 1.51 and I have an older fat Xbox. I haven't updated to the latest Kinect dashboard. I don't use Xbox Live. For some time now I have been patching everything to Wave 3 using Soulhaven's 360patcher in order to get my backups to work with my older firmware.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood requires the new Kinect dashboard with AP2.5 in order to function. I have the Kinect dashboard on USB stick but I haven't installed it because according to the forums FW1.51 is not compatible with AP2.5 and ACB wouldn't function anyway even if I installed the new dashboard.
I was considering upgrading the FW to LT+ but my worry is that all of my backups which have been patched as Wave 3 will no longer function with LT+...is this true?
If the newest FirmWare is able to play any Wave shouldn't it be able to play backups with patched waves?
Do I need to re-patch those backups into a newer wave? Is my backup library now useless?

Hi, I too was patching games to wave 3 but the newer titles would not work. I took the plunge and upgraded my 360 to LT+ and now I have no problems at all and my older 'wave 3' back-ups still work. I have also updated my dashboard with the latest updates and everything is o/k. I hope this helps.

That's because ap2.5 is a total different ball game. Patching your wave to a lower wave will not allow you to play games with ap2.5

think they meant if they upgrade to allow 2.5 games to work would that stop there older games they patched to wave 3 from working. not patching a 2.5 to wave 3. just that there old games are still able to play with lt+

A quick update and a quick question.
I updated to LT + 1.1 and all of my backups worked like a charm. So before diving into AC Brotherhood I decided to update the console via my USB stick with the latest dashboard.
The update started out all fine, my xbox restarted and applied the update as usual but than all of a sudden I got an Error 71.
I read up on it and it seems to be a bad memory error and the only way to fix it is to flush your cache.
However before I did that I turned off my xbox and restarted it. The dashboard is definitely the new dashboard and when I tried one of my older backups AC 2 it worked just fine. So I didn't flush my cache because the xbox seemed to be working ok.
Has anybody experienced any kind of similar problems when updating to the Kinect Dashboard (Xbox360_ap2-5_SystemUpdate_USBKey_12625) with or without LT+?
I'm just glad that my xbox seems to be functioning, it is possible I guess that the old bird is just getting on, but since it happened during the update I couldn't help but wonder.

yeah i did it via usb ( im not on lt+ ) got the e71 like you kept trying and same old same old so burnt the update to disc and all went well and hometown loaded.
