yes, the green screen was pretty weird, and I was relieved when it didn't lead me immediately to something more serious... thanks for the tips, I'll try everything I remember in order to eliminate the possibilities as to what's giving me those dirty disk issues so often.

first of all i wanna thank you for such a great program but now i have a problem. i patched modern warfare 2 to wave 3 and it works fine for me (i have ixtreme 1.6). now i patched the wave 4 iso file to wave 2 for a friend who has only ixtreme 1.4. when i wanna test the game on my xbox i only get the screen that i should insert the disc in a xbox 360.
is this normal for my firmware or have i done something wrong?

Its normal on 1.6+ a wave 2 wouldn't work but on anything lower a wave 2 would work so you have the only FW that wave 2 basically won't play on, tell your friend to test it on his 1.4 xbox.

Yes you would have to update the dash usually you get updates online or by the game itself but since you havent gone online and dont have the real game you have to get updates by going to the xbox website and downloading the latest dash update theres links to it on the first post of this thread, once you save it to a disc or to a usb drive the system asks to update itself automatically then your copied games will work. To chceck if you have the latest dash already go to system setting then console setting- youll see dash version, 2.0.8955.0 is the latest.

All 3 games work this way Modern warfare 2, left for dead 2 and Assasins creed 2 thanks to Sicdude for posting this awesome program:) But when the newst extreme firmware comes out it would be better to skip all the patching and boot disc swaps and just update the FW.

Thats because you remove the update when you patch an iso to a lower wave.

Yeah i know but the guy i replied too couldn't play the wave 4 games that have the latest updates Fall 8955 ON IT doesnt matter if its a copy you still get updated if the xbox can boot the game, and couldn't go online so he's stuck having to update via the website. If you Could get a wave 4 game to boot of course it updates the sytem automatically:)

Just an update. Got it to work fine with DBZ:RG though that game fails as a true dragonball z game.

I thought that game was horrible compared to the others.

hi. i have a problem on forza motorsport 3, i patched it , i burned it at 2x on a memorex DL, i played it and it ran nice. however, when i go to the 4th or 5th race, it stops on "Now Loading" or something and my game ends there... i tried several times and its always like that.. can u help me ? :s

They aren't recomended as a media for 360 games, try Verbatim, Arita or Aone plus discs

most of my backup's are on memorex, just some are on verbatim and the memorex one's are nice.. just forza motorsport is a crap since it stops there..
but im gonna try on verbatim then

got a question for u guys
Well i have a 1.5v ixtreme. After running abgx for PES2010, i then patched the game to wave2. Now here comes the question
Do i burn the .dvd file that was produced by abgx( even though it was created before the patching to wave 2?)
I tried to burn the .iso file and imgburn didnt allow me to do it. So what should i do?

UPDATED: I was an Idiot and tried burning a PAL... no wonder I failed horribly.

Hi All My Xbox 360 is Modded with iX1.5[Lite-On] I have tried in many ways to upgrade it to iX1.6 but none of the methods worked. Am Still able to Play my previous games "Resident Evil 5, Top Spin 3, etc."
Now i am searching for many alternatives.
One of them which suited me is burning the games to WAVE 2 compatible mode. The major reason i opted this option because i do not play on XBOX LIVE! at all. So i am least bothered about my XBox 360 Ban.
But one thing is that i dont download games so i do not have any ".iso" file of any game. But I have purchased NFS Shift, AC II and many other games which are of Wave 3 and Wave 4 modes. All these games are working fine on iX1.6 as i have checked at the store.
Now My questions here are as i already have game disc with me can i simply put the disc in Computers DVD Rom and create an Image with ImgBurn Software and then use "360WavesPatcher" which i downloaded and selecting the WAVE 2 option in that and patching the iso which i created earlier. After Patching the iso do i need to check it on agbx os can i simply start burning it on blank DL DVD[I have dozen MoserBaer discs are they suitable]. Also while burning the DVD i heard the Layer Break should be 1913760. Can any one explain more about this. Also please let me know any precautions to be taken
Does this work has anyone tried. As I am trying it today and let you know the results.
If this method doesnt help can anyone suggest me any other alternatives so that i cane play the Wave 3, Wave 4 and above games.

finally i got it working this is excellent , ive never been on xbox live never play online and cant be bothered to try redoing my firmware on my hitachi, its on 1.5 ixtreme and i used the xbox live to update xbox as dics and usb key wouldnt update as its never been connected to net before , updated used tool to change wave 4 game bioshock to wave 2 burned at single speed and voila its a good un , then did wsbk09, ufc, fuel and tekken 6 and theyre all good what a great tool im definaly going to contribute to this guys fund congrats to dev.. for a fantastic tool
