It patches the original iso, just copy and paste the iso to another location on your pc if you want an untouched iso ;)
Yes I made a copy just in case. Do I burn as normal? E.d drag .dvd file into imgburn with layerbreak set? Or do i drag in the iso?
yeah just make sure the .dvd file is in the same folder as the patched iso.
Ok thanks Ill give it a try

Hi, just bought a new 360 with iXtreme 1.6, not banned. So, I really want to play the new wave 4/5 games, and I'm too lazy to use the activate.iso every time, and I dont want to wait for new FW.
So, Im going to patch some games now to wave 3. But I wonder..
Will I be able to install the patched games to my harddrive as usual?
Because the n1 reason I bought a new 360 is that i just cant stand playing the games from the disc, i need to install them.
And can someone confirm this works with 1.6? Some say it does, some say it doesnt.
Thanks!

Hey sicdude can you advice? My dashboard version is 2.0.8507.0. I manually downloaded the latest version, 2.0.8955.0. I formatted my USB pen drive to FAT-32, I placed the $SystemUpdate folder in the root of the USB pen drive. I then plug in one of my 360 elite's 3 ports. When I reboot the console, it doesn's update. What's going on?

I updated my dashboard with a USB pen drive just a couple of hours ago, worked for me.. But my 360 was turned off when i inserted it in one of the USB ports, then i started the 360 and it asked me to update right away.. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but.. I dunno, try.
Anyway, I'm having some trouble. I patched GTA Episodes from Liberty City from wave 4 to wave 3, with that french program, latest version. So far so good.
But when I run it through abgx360 1.0.2 after that I get some red text and stuff. And I'm not good at this at all so I wonder what is wrong?
It looks like this:
Checking PFI
PFI CRC = 2A4CCBD3
PFI is incorrect based on the date this game was authored (should have matched
at least 4th wave)
Video partition found
Video CRC = 0E58FB9D (V0 = CF942E7B, V1 = 4809B37A)
Video partition is incorrect based on the date this game was authored (should

Can someone please help me?

Hey dude thanks for replying. I always switch off my 360 before I insert the USB pen drive. No update happens. Very weird. Anyway concerning your problem. After you patch the game from Wave 4 to Wave 3, run abgx, but choose level 0(no fix). You will get errors for PFI and Video partition, but that's normal since you downgraded the game from Wave 4 to Wave 3. abgx works by cross-checking the game's timestamp with it's PFI and Video partition database. Hence based on the timestamp,it sees that the Episodes from Liberty City is meant to be a Wave 4 game, but because of the downgrade patch by the french program, it sees differently, hence it reads as an error. All you need to do again is use the french program and then burn the patched iso at 2.4x with imgburn. Use the .dvd file to burn

I'm having some trouble in gettimg the Patched Wave 4 to Wave 3 games to work. My Firmware is 1.6, i used this program to Patch Dragon Age to Wave 3, burned it with ImgBurn and when i put the disc on the Xbox, the game looks like it's loading, but only a Black Screen appears.
When I turn the Xbox off and turn it on again, i see that it recognized the game (the last game played appears to be Dragon Age).
So i really don't know what happened in there =/
Did i patch it wrong?
Other thing, i don't have the last Dashboard update, i'm banned from Live and the cd/dvd thing didn't work, the same with the USB ... i'm still trying, but nothing happens.
Could it be that the game didn't load properly 'cause i didn't have the last Dash Update?
Do i really need it to play the last games??

Stealth check failed means that if you use it on Xbox Live, you will be immediately detected as using a backup and banned. So no Xbox Live.

Okay, thanks. I will never plug an ethernetcable into my 360 so no worries. The game will work just fine to play though right?
I remember reading somewhere that the games need to have stealth or the game will not boot on iXtreme. But maybe I'm mixing things up here? I'm a total noob :P

As you are changing the wave then stealth patching is pointless. The only reason I would run it through a stealth patcher (ABGX) is to see if my iso matches the iso on the ABGX database, which would confirm if the download is genuine or just a rapidshare-type fake. But I wouldn't use it to make it safe for live, as wave converting should only be used for offline gaming.
Also make sure you do point 3 correctly. The first time I burned MW2 I forgot to do point 3 and was sad for weeks.

THX.
1- Prior to modifying the file make a copy of it.
2- Open your MW2 file. If yours is the same as mine there should be 74 parts. Unrar part 74.
3- Once it has unRar'ed a .dvd file should appear (it will have a disc icon and be 1KB in size). A large file should also appear- CODMW2 size 7,395,392KB.
4- Open wavespatcher and drag the large CODMW2 into the directory and convert to wave 3.
5- Open imgburn and drag the .dvd file into the directory.
6- Burn; I always do it at 2.4x though it isnt that important. Click verify also.
