Yup I got banned this morning too. It's funny cause a few days ago I posted on the 'Ban wave survivors' thread. Have a Hitachi ix1.51, never played early, always verified and all that. I've played GTA episodes and Tekken 6 (verified as well). I read some other posts about checking your games from the burned dvd, but seems kind of pointless since most would have played the games already. No big deal for me since i never played live.

okay one more update, I tried to play some games that were already installed, and i get this message "This game can only be played on the console nad hard drive it was originally installed on. To play on this console, delete and re install game"
So not only can i not install games now, but whatever is already installed, won't run from the hard drive.

Guys,
Someone I know just rented Halo ODST and Madden 2010 from BB just to do a test. After he ripped the games to his PC and ran then through ABGX they failed. ABGX is the problem right now. They're database is corrupt. Try this for yourself and see.

yeah man, I guess you won't be seeing me logging in to live anymore lol.
just an update, I do my own retail rips, using i.61. used 360 as power source for flashing. Rechecked all dvd's and they all check out still... and yet I got banned. I don't think we'll ever know how exactly they are doing it.
Lol, and that could be a serious problem.

it kinda sucks that whatever game was installed will not run off the Hard drive anymore. Does this include forza 3 disc 2? Can't use the extra cars anymore?

I'm with you on that. I preferred playing my games from the hard drive, especially with a Hitachi. 120gb wasted.

if you installed ANY game whatsoever before being banned you wont be able to do it now being banned, either the install option nor play them from hard drive, BOTH are disabled
a banned console is better having a memory card(128mb or 256mb is ENOUGH), if your not planing on getting another xbox your better selling the hdd, any offline profile you make on a banned console is corrupt anyway on a non-banned xbox

My brother was banned on his 1.6 Firmware and didn't play online for link 2 months until just recently on Nov. 6th. I'm also banned to and checked everything very thoroughly.
He works at a network company that puts in patches for internet security updates and they usually puts these patches months in advance that are undetected and set to activate at a certain day and time.
He believe M$ has done the same thing when they make us do a update on our console, and it doesn't have to be the most recent update like the 10/19 update for the MU. The update could have been months way back to track mod consoles, and set to activate on certain day and time and keep activating in the background.
There is no proof to this, but if his company does things like this and so does other companies around the world, why wouldn't M$ install a hidden patch update months in advance to catch us now.
-_- There is a posting that someone said his friend went to BB rent a game and ran it through ABGX and it came all corrupt... I wonder if there is any truth to that and that is 1 of their additional things that ran to track people.

Ok, I've been reading and testing things for the past few days now. I now have 17 customers who are banned. Based on all the cases it seems that there are only 2 real options here.
1. abgx was somehow used against us and M$ was able to infect our ripped games with information that would tell them we were playing a game that went through abgx. I would think that they also did something to XBC. This could have happened months ago and they've just been waiting to ban everyone to make sure they get everyone that they can. Bottom line, our games are not safe. People can stop posting info on the games they've played. I think we're all past the point of thinking it was a few specific games that did it.
2. M$ now has a way to read our FW. I've been doing this for years and I know how hard and unlikely it would be for them to be able to do that. But, it would not be impossible. The update could have automatically put it in B mode during the update and used a program to send the FW info back to them. Now it's just a matter of time before they are able to go through all the returned information and determine who gets banned. Or, they could be testing our 360's every time it turns on. Those steps would only take a few seconds if they were done right.
I am still NOT banned as of today.
What I plan to do....I am going to us my friends new, unmodded 360 to transfer my profile to a memory card. I am also going to use a spare HDD to make a copy of mine. I am then going to us his modded xbox with the memory card to see if I can get it banned. That way it won't affect my HDD. If anyone has some suggestions as to how to monitor the network while I am doing this please send them to me and I will give it a shot. I will also try connecting to xbox to live (on a console that isn't banned yet) after I have already gone through it's boot up. I have 4 360's that are modded but aren't banned yet that I am willing to risk for the greater good.
Either way, it seems that this is the end of, at least, this wave of modded consoles. Someone will find a way to get around this ban wave and another era of modded consoles will begin. I am a survivor living in Texas. If anyone is out there, anyone....please.....you are not alone.

OK, I have just ripped Raven Squad from retail disc and ran thru ABGX and these are the results:
"There is no verified rip of this Xex/SS combination in the online database

Can I just upload my numbers or ISO to ABGX to add to there database so in the future verification will pass for anyone else?

That version of the game is already in the database. The reason it's not being found is because of your abgx360 settings: -

Both of those games I ripped and ran thru ABGX and passed just fine. Played both of them with no problem. Both are Wave 3.

Yep you are right it is the only version in there. Now just one question. If I ripped from a retail disc, why would I have to autofix anything at all? It should be a perfect ISO, right?

I had no problems with them at that time too. But he did them last night and had problems. At that time ABGX was fine, but now it seems to be having problems.

You shouldn't have to autofix anything. The default abgx360 settings are designed for people that rip their own games. It'll autofix only if the stealth is uncertain/fails and verification fails, but if the stealth check passes and verification fails, that's fine. It just means that the version you're ripping is slightly different from the one uploaded to the database. If you know what you're doing when you're ripping your own games, the stealth check will always pass, so abgx360 should never autofix.
