one thing that still concerns me a little bit is that the 0225 drives still require hardware to write to them, so it is possible that another addon will have to be purchased soon after receiving the device, also as stated to run from the battery another addon will need to be purchased, a little late for me since i already purchased it, but something for others to consider before doing the same.

from what I have been told the 0225 is hardware locked and can't be written to hence the delay on that firmare for the slim. The 9xxx series slim will be the FW that does release. They have even try dumping the 0225 and spoofing it to a 9xxx series slim and the games don't boot.
As for the lizard, keep in mind, with teamX's usbutf you still need the ck3 xtractor. This makes the cost higher than the lizard and as of right now, you still have to do cuts with their tool.

Of course not for long. They will get a lizard and steal the idea. Cat and mouse game like usual. How is this amazing if maximus already had it first? The usb tool by teamX will be more money regardless when you factor in the Ck3 that is also needed to power it.

Yeah who knows if the 0225 will ever been modded. Not sure how they are going to get a work around since it can't be written to. Anything is obviously possible.

I'll wait for the clones when they'll be forced to drop the price to $60 or so. BTW, will this work on new 360 slims?
