Ah, ok.

I'm still holding out buying any new products. I want to see how the Slim methods pan out.

Why do you continue to carry on passing off wrong info? Yes, Team Xecuter does have a no cut method.

And what do you mean "they only have a home made CK3 Probe V1"? Seriously, if you want to bad mouth a group, atleast try to know what you're talking about first. You're only making yourself look like a idiot.

I'm not ragging on you, I'm just saying...

No no, I'm not jumping on him. This just isn't the first thread where I've read bad info from b1g. But like I mentioned, I'm not ragging on him. I'm simply pointing it out. There's other members here that'll jump up and down on him.

Yep, read about TX no cut a day and a half ago. B1g just said (4 posts above my inital) that TX does not have a no cut method and TX only offers a home made probe.

And on both counts he's wrong. Not to mention he even contradicts himself by first saying that TX doesn't have a no cut method then in the same sentence mentions the probe for no cut reading.

TX does have a no cut method and TX is offering a no cut probe for sale (not just some home made probe as b1g also states).

Quote:
Make your own Probe that will require no cuts and no soldering for all Liteon DG-16D2S DVD drives.

...we have already developed a professional version

edit.
TX has up on their site a picture showing how to make your ck3 probe (obviously for those who already own one) into a pogo mo thoin for LO no cut reading.

I was originally gonna buy the lizard when it was 100$, waited 2 hours and the price bumped up 10$. Then i decided to wait to see if it got positive feedback and it did so now I go to purchase and it's sold out as of today... The snooze / lose lesson was learned once again but thankfully there will be a next batch in a few weeks

No time for Leap frog!!!

People that think the TeamX tool is cheaper are crazy. you still need to buy an xtractor which is another cost.

i have been working on xbox's for a lot of years, and i have always used TX equipment, but i fell off the wagon and bought the lizard and i must say i cannot do anything but praise it, it is obvious that the no cut scorpion probe was there idea, and a very good one, cutting the traces although effective was a job, and like i said before there was always that one out of however many that just refused to cooperate, with this it is easy and very fast, there is no guess work involved, now when someone comes in with a liteon i dont dread having to do it, i really do not care if the other one is half price, i would still pay gladly pay double for the lizard, the only draw back is that C4 will not get revenue from the lizard.

I already had the 1st Maximus connectivity kit. This one is well worth the money to me. I ordered from modchipsdirect.com and it arrived within 3 days of placing my order. I've only tested with a Lite-on 7 series already flashed with LT-Plus. It went nice and easy.

You already had a conectivity kit so you bought a lizard?

You didn't know that you didn't have to buy anything to do no-cut LO reading? All you needed was you ck, a piece of wire, and some sort of pin. And of course the latest JF.

They aren't cheaper anyway. You still need the ck connectivity kit to power the device. They just make it look cheaper since that's not in their cost. The lizard can be powered by the 360. Not sure on the teamx model.

I thought you needed to do cuts to get keys from a 7 series lite-on drive already flashed with LT firmware just like with the newer lite-on drives. If you don't how do you get them off? Just a probe doesn't work.

A probe (modified) with the latest JF does work without cuts now.

Yep, seen that.

But you only mentioned the scorpion or ck probe. That's why I mentioned a modified probe. I should have been a bit more specific. By "modified" I meant one you can make on your own.
