you have been able to dump the keys off a slim l.o drive for months, no cuts or anything. Just no FW for it yet so all you can do is flash the keys to another drive and slap it in there

This is correct and so far the 0225 is hardware locked and it can't be written to or spoofed. The 9xxx series slim can, so Jpizzle's method will not work on the 0225 drive. According to C4eva, there will be a workaround shortly.

So what does everyone say who has one of these? Is it as easy as the video shows? It appears as though these devices call home to check their serial number before it will allow a firmware upgrade. Also, is $110 still the cheapest rate for these?

there are a few bugs with it that are currently being worked on. bug 1 is it is having issues unlocking and putting samsung drives already flashed with LT into vendor mode. and some devices are having issues upgrading to the newest firmware. but other than that they (mine) work just fine and dandy. did a couple benqs last night with no issues. have some LO's to test it on later but was hungry and food was ready.

mine was locking up on a benq drive earlier, my eject button dont seem to work on the power switch, i have had no issues with samsung so far, actually it is the only one that has flashed without a hitch, one other bug i have discovered is the software(toolbox) crashes a lot during or right after flashing, may just be an issue with something on my cp though.

So whats the deal guys, after all this anticipation and revelation, I see no talk about the simplicity of flashing liteon's with no cuts. I recently bought a vampire so any other drive does not interest me. After all, if I decide to purchase this device, it would be primarily for Liteons.

???
It does and it doesn't?
Er, wait. Do you mean it only does a FULL firmware dump when the MRA is used. So without the cuts then the Lizard is only grabbing the key, like in the old days of flashing LO's?
