Oh God Im sorry Malaci

Is there a firmware update for eurovox max red codes chaged today an box didnt update them at the moment i have ufl v 2 thx

Hve always gotten my ans here without having to post a question but now Im stuck. Living in Ireland and I have a Eurovox Max v and a Eurovox EX5000. The problem starts when I try to download the latest Firmware.
I connect my box to pc with a serial null/usb connection and run the ufl programme, and hit 'download', the message 'WRITING' comes up and after 90 secs the msg 'downloading has failed' appears. from this thread i see that SENDING is the first thing I should see. I am using the correct COM PORT I believe..... Any ideas??
Would consider myself a real novice at this so any answers will have to be simple!! Sorry if this is wasting anyones time!!

Have you tried your box as it usually takes 90 secs to flash in total, it then says downloading failed and usually changes to downloading is successful.
Plug it back up to the TV and try it, be patient for it to update.

hi
i have re flashed my eurovox5000 but now its only showing quality o less that 20% where before it was 80 to 90 any one else experience this

Ill try that now. Had the same problem when I bought the EX5000. It didnt come with the fireware and no matter what i tried I had to send it back. The replacement came with the fireware on it so this is first time i had to flash either of them.... Thanks, Ill get back if no joy!!

Still no joy! I tried to flash again as above and it says downloading failed. I have left it connected but no change after ten mins or so. Did a scan then on the telly and the epg and channels are there but Code being updated msg still there and nothing to watch!!! I must be doing something really simple wrong.... but what is the problem!!!!

If its the Evox Max thats stopped and you have 4 zero's thaen you may need to change the Symbol rate to one that works inyour area .
If you have 4lines '- - - -' then the box is blank
It needs to be re loaded.

just ta be sure r them fixes on the first page updating when codes are scrambled i dont want the whole town coming back to me with the boxes lol

Hi Gary - Im in the same boat but i have to say the link and loader i used for the Eurovx max v 2008 has by box stuck so. im still trying to resolve it have you used the fix and has it worked?
