Please be advised that if you upgrade your A750 with the 17052010 firmware, make sure your IConnect is powered OFF when doing the new channel scan.

Only reconnect it and power it back up again once you have a TV signal displyed on the TV (Usually channel 0000).

Once you power up the IConnect, it should take over the A750 and downlod a major update from the internet. This is normal and should be allowed to proceed (display shows on both the TV and the A750). Once the A750 display shows the word SUCC it is complete and you may now use your IConnect in the manner in which it was designed. Happy viewing!

If you get the above wrong, the IConnect will sit there and only display 2 green LED's (power and connection). If this is the case, re-read the above and you have to start from the beginning (re-flash)

Points to note:

Faster channel decryption
Faster fetching of codes (I noted every 2, 5 and 10 seconds on a repeating cycle)
More responsive remote control
New menu item which will eventually show website traffic (not implemented yet?)

To those reading this associated with the Kryptview and IConnect, I personally thank you and ask if the DW800 HD box is to be IConnect capable too (answer via PM if you wish to remain anon) >:o)

I've got the DW800 and at present it's only getting the FTA channels so I think you might be mistaking the A780 there lol

Now viewing in HD using the Phoenix/Kryptview A850 box! YIPPIE!

Dont think the DW will be up and running or the old A700 box, just the A750 and the A780's

Thats what I'm thinking Mickah ... Not worried about the A700 but I'm hoping they have something in the pipeline for the DW though as it's far too young (and a fairly decent box funnily enough) to throw on the scrapheap

The advantage is you wont need a iconnect for it the lan connection is built into the box that is the only difference

ja think its anything to do with the fact that im running the dongle off an old slow laptop? ive the ethernet lead running straight to the sv6 box on network sharing....
Not sure if this might help but Vod*fon* hav a new wireless router (Huawei hg556a) that can be used with a 3g device... intended for those who want wireless around the house but cannot get landline BB or for those who have landline BB and are having issues, they can simply connect 3g device and away they go....also has 4 LAN ports...

Seen this on the iconnect Facebook link

"Welcome to our blog page hope you find it interesting, we are about to release a new box to the Uk market and Ireland, its the all new Kryptview 780 with built in Lan feature, unlike our previous models, with this there is no need to purchase a iconnect dongle, but you will need them for the older model, which will still be supported no matter what."

So now no iconnect is needed. Am I correct?

only for the 750 model needs the iconnect as there is a lot of them around still so they are still supporing them by use of the dongle

780 no dongle required lan built in to box

Thanx again e45.

I heard Kryptview had good support. Nice to see they are supporting legacy equipment.

Appologies - Spelling and Grammer corrected - Mistakes due to anxiety about this boxes release.

Surely this is a sign that future support will be good.
