same anything where you connect via the net, they all have their risks and can be traced or blocked, but if your IP provider is not upcccc or VM it would be safer I would presume

This is for UK only ...
1) Upgrade your Kryptview A750 with the latest firmware
2) Plug the IConnect into the A750 using the supplied serial cable
3) Plug the IConnect into your broadband modem/router using the supplied ethernet cable
4) Switch everything on
5) Scan for channels
All other connections via the internet are automatic. There's 4 green lights on the IConnect, 3 usually stay lit but when the 4th is blinking, it's grabbing the codes

Originally posted by e45: well only prob with the starview one is the box will only last a year and then you need to purchase another box to get the line the kryptView on the other hand does not have that stipulation you buy your box or the iconnec and your box stays on even after the 12mts big difference in price and savings especially as we are in a recession
Im sure anyone that has bought these boxes before will be in the know where to get more or buy the iconnect from to use with the exisiting box you have already purchased which is a big plus on their side
Could anybody tell me how much these boxes are and where I can but one? I live in North east England will it work there?

How do all.
Lads anyone with particulars of the server the IConnect connects to? It's been touted as having no expiry unlike the SV6 but haven't seen anything specific on how/why...
Also - read earlier that it has been tested in Ireland over the past few days so can't imagine it'll be long before firmware available in Eire.
Last point - considering the likely massive up-take on this one wonders why KV have released this box to work with the iConnect on a box without HD or even USB support???
But... I suppose beggars can't be choosers! :-)
Janey mack Im nearly 40.
