you can buy the homplugs on ebay you will need 2 of them when you get them you plug in one beside your ripwave and connect the end of the cable from the modem to one end of homeplug then you plug the other homeplug into the room where you have the PC and connect another wire from that plug to your pc it should work

if YOU/I/OTHERS dont like it, well ya don't have to read, or you can report it
Quite right too. (But I dont see how name calling is within the forum rules?)
And you forgot to mention that I can also comment on it if I want to and if YOU/OTHERS dont like it YOU/OTHERS dont have to reply.
I am quite within my rights to comment on whatever I want to whether I/YOU/OTHERS like it or not. So there. Ha ha, Im havin a ball here. You guys are great!
This thread is so full of arguments now that I've forgotten what the thread was about. Oh yea - which is better KV or SV? Any sellers out there like to comment........?
Without arguing of course..................

Exactly! But you'd never guess the thread was about the iconnect with all the arguing and name calling going on.
You fell for it! Ha ha got ya again.
And does that mean you wont give me a good deal on a couple of Kryptview A780's when my Eurovox boxes go down?

No. I didn't mean to start an argument.
If you read my first post in this thread I was simply asking for some advice about homeplugs.
I had to wade through all the nonsense, name calling and arguing about selling KV boxes and SV boxes so I asked them to stop.
Well I wish I hadn't bothered now cause first of all some denied they were arguing then someone tried to justify it and said its OK to argue and name call and then I was told to mind my own business and if I didn't like it I knew where I could go.
Far from starting an argument I was trying to STOP one. But when you get attacked you gotta stick up for yourself.
Anyway those guys arent talking to me any more so Im just gonna sit in the corner and huff.

No dont apologise. But again I gotta disagree, they were definitely arguing.
You obviously didn't see e45's post before he edited it. It was like "Why dont you mind your own business" and "If you dont like it you know where to go"
I just found it dead funny the way I was jumped on and wasn't gonna lie down and let them get at me.
You see its probably because I'm a new face and dont post often. Mainly because I try to read first to get any info I need.
Its easy to get at the new kid. I'm not one of the clique. I know bugger all about these boxes except how to watch em!
But thanks for not flaming me and simply weighing it up.

Could anyone please confirm that if you have a set up A750 box with an i-connect attached or a setup A780 box that all that is required, when Nag 3 is fully on, is to connect to BB through a router to receive all channels or is it necessary to connect to a particular site. Will the box sort out pictures without need for any further programming or payment of an annual fee or is a fee necessary to connect to a particular site or server?

you just connect your broadband making sure you have the latest firmware on your box and away ya go.
no annual fee either you buy the box thats it.
yes lincsat From what i've heard I believe they have migrated one of their server clusters to add more capability and bandwidth. The 20 minute down time was probably due to domain name propogation.

Many thanks e45.
My question is if you have an A750 box with already downloaded firmware on it i.e. previously successfully scrambling N2 that all that is required is to purchase and connect correctly an "i-connect"to the BB, as illustrated on the files at the bottom of your signature, to grab all channels when the switchover to N3 is complete if ever?
