Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

yes that will work if they have them in stock but as that guy is looking to use a mobile bb stick like meteor or 02 mobile that will not work

the one above that you have put up you need a wirless modem for that to work

Got cut off when I was posting this, I think this is the only DONGLE that would work with a starview 6!! but you would need to have a wireless router to connect to in the house!!

Well no, the question was would a MOBILE BB DONGLE be able to keep a SV6 updated ? and the answer is yes, if you connect it to something else ( eg a laptop and an ethernet cable).

This also works.

Edimax 3G-6200N nLite Wireless 3G Broadband Router.

Plug in your USB Modem into the above box and run Ethernet cable from it to your Starview.

More info here http://www.peats.com/cgi-bin/catalog.cgi?view_product=1&id=25634

Very clever ok. What I was thinking was using down the road using one of those and keeping the SV6 updated by it.

No IP evidence on my domestic bb provider (Khorus).

you are on 6887 symbol rate so you should be ok also it does not come with set up instructions but you should find them on here just searching thru the posts no boxes come with that type of information as that would be totally illigal for them to put that information in with the box.

you dont need a cable for updating that box as you use a usb key to do this just make sure there is nothing on the key when doing it and that it has been formatted to fat 32.

it is about £25 cheaper if you get it from here,
http://theboxdistribution.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2
and if you shop around you will probably save a few more pennies.
