Ok what the hell I dont understand is how to get the files in the same order the are on the image as windows automatically reorders them according to alphabetical sequence

For the life of me I cant undersatnd "make the folder one file wide and it will retain the order". errrrr right.

So I have gone through and dropped the files into cdgen manually (friggin tedious process!)

Will this shit work? Do the LBAs have to be in the exact same order also?? If thats the case im fuct because I copied from the directories first and the root files last.

theres gotta be an easier way can somebody please explain to me?

I just downloaded CDVDGEN and noticed under

OPTIONS>PREFERENCE there is something that says Disc ID (Enable/Disable)

Would it be better to choose Disable? If so, or not, why? Also, what about the region?

I forgot what to put as my sig.

Finally after 4 coasters I got a working backup of NBA Street 3. My mistakes: I assumes that by going to the folder where the iso buster extracted files were I assumed that if I narrowed up the window, the files would be in order, then I noticed that they were in alphabetacal order. So i left tried leaving isobuster open so I could see the correct order, then dragged each file over to cddvdgen in the proper order. My other mistake was following Winnings instructions too closely ( Not that they were wrong but it was for a different game) I failed to check how many NBA000 files (STAR000)the cddvdgen created, it was accually 3 instead of two, after making the necessary changes using DOS, my file size went from 1.99 GB using only the 2 files to 2.38 using all 3. Thanks winning.

Kakorat;
There seems to be a problem with some of the cdvdgen. I had the same problem also. I suggest getting another copy of cdvdgen, or just keep trying.

2b) OPEN ISO BUSTER AND CLICK ON FILE > OPEN IMAGE FILE.

In case anyone is using FAT32, it will not support a single file more than 4GB. Step 2b of the instructions can be confusing because if the iso is more than 4GB you will have multiple files to choose from. I had...

1_02.i00 4,194,302KB
1_02.i01 392,266KB
1_02.mds 5KB

Suprisingly, I used the .mds file in 2b and it worked!

When i rebulid they still skip. I use verbatim, and i burn at 2.4. I have v4. I have more than 2 bin files and how do you know what order to put them in. I put them in the order they appear on iso buster. Is that right? The games that didnt work are LOR the third age and Rouge agent. I tried rouge on a straight burn and it did not work. Plz help

THanks

For LOTR I use the DVD LOADER Found on swapmagicfix.com

Also try burning your dvd at a slower speed to avoid skipping

I rebuilt the NBA Street 3 iso and everything works fine until I get into actual game mode, then the controller doesn't function at all. Has this happened to anyone else. What I am doing wrong?

Hey fellas....I have been reading the forums for about 2 hours now...lots of great info...thanks to everyone for their input. I made a couple of coasters so far, but have finally figured it out.
I just burned a copy of Metal Gear Solid 2 using the above method, but when it came to join all the files back together , I used a program called CDVDGEN Isobuilder. It joined all the files with no problem, made a new .iso and then burned the image with DVD Decrypter. Worked like a champ. I tried to go thru the cmd prompt....no luck..I really need to improve on my Dos skills.

Thanks again
