Btw I didnt just make that theory up. If you took the time to look around on Halo related websites then you'd see that it is a real possibility.
P.S just because the book didnt say there were more than one, doesnt mean there isnt.

Anyway... I've figured it out!!! After some research...really not alot...I found it!!!The Halo 3 release date!!!Will not really...Maybe between...are you ready...wait for it...between August 2005 and May 2006!!!That narrows it down to about 300 days to choose from!!!YaY!!! Or in other words Who gives a BIG S***...

first they arnt going to save cortana cause she is supposed to have blown up with the covanent city second i belive in the first book cheif mendez leaves and says he's leaveing to start a second generation of spartan2's
also quite a few spartans survive reach i know grace dies when hit in the back with 3 brute shots and another one dies some where
and a question where are the other spartens that survived halo2 fails to even mention them

I dont think bungie want more than one Spartan in the game because it jut wouldnt fit the line. John is suposed to be the last of his kind. Now maybe at one of the last moments in halo 3 they will show something going on with other spartans.
haloxbox, the MC isnt the only one who can, transport Cortana. Any one can but a spartan is the only thing beside a ship board ai pedestal that can actually activate her and use her. Like in the first Halo on board The Pillar of Autumn keyes gives the MC a disc or something like that with her data.

Hey guys? Just thought of something here...its quite odd.
The current spartan proj. is called Spartan-2 right?
And the suits in Halo 2 were a Marc-6
In halo 1 a Marc-7.
So... the spartan project must have been around for quite a while.

Well I have the solution to that (possibly). In Halo 1 their was 7 Halos right,
and the suit was called Mark-7...Halo 2 comes and there is only 6
Halos right, and the suit is called Mark-6...And there you have it!

Well no because Halo 3 will be the last one in the trilogy...So for know he is
going to be in his little Mark-6...I think!!!

First of all its a mark 5 armor and the one in halo 2 is mark 6. Its obvious because while playing through Halo and you encounter a group of marines one of them nearly always say "look a mark 5" followed by maybe someone saying "his taller than I thought and better looking". Plus why would they give him weaker armor if the one in halo was a mark 7 which isnt. And plus why would sargent Gunns at the beginnig of halo2 say to the master chief " your new suit is a mark 6 just came up this morning".

Even though the armor in halo 1 is a mark 5 there seems to be a relationship between Master chiefs armor and the forrunners tecnology. While I was reading the second halo book I read a part where an elite named Zuka Zamamee was talking to a prophet about the spartan armor and how the armor of spartans are superior to their own. The prophet then replies by saying something like "mind your words, officer Zamamee. The tecnology underlying the armor you wear came straight from the forerunners. To say that it is in any way inferior verges on sacrilege". Then another elite says that what Zamamee says is true That the armor is very special.

i hope that for the sword in halo 3 you don't run out of battery. it would also be cool to introduce a new kind of grenade or something. i don't know what kind it would just be cool. and like you can see the grenades on sombody when they have them like its on a belt.

I think in the thread earlier, it was a script for Halo 2 (but it was old) it menchend something about a grenade that sounds like C4 or something? In the scipt MC uses the grenade to kill 2 prophets!

anybody that has played red faction or has seen someone play it would know what im talking about. i wish that it would blow like craters in the ground and stuff and blow away wall like at the pillars in zanzibar but it would do it anywhere you place the c-4 charge but after like 10 blows with the c-4 it wouldn't do it any more and it woudl reset the map if your doing rounds for like capture the flag and assault and other games.

Ok im a bit l8 but i think evil spartans is a stupid idea. this is halo. it is NOT real. the idea of a conspiracy where spartans were taken away and suduced or w/e to become evil is just crazy. besides spartans where trained to withstand most chemicals and just about everything.
and i thought that halo 2 would have someway associated the other missing spartans considering earth was being attack and that is their home planet. another spartan would have been a much better idea then the Arbitor. i would have to think that Halo 3 would have to bring in the final spartans and Dr. Hasley. and maybe that is how cortana gets back to earth. who knows? we will just have to wait till Halo 3 comes out.
