Some how I don't think that there could be a chip inside of a dvd that tells someone that you burnt one of there discs.

Memorex is the bomb. There are no problems with anything I've burnt with it. Memorex is the poor man's media man.

You Memorex lovers are not alone. I too, love Memorex. I wish to join your cult. I've had bad experiences with other media (aka Verbatim) and now that I use Memorex, I've had no problems. Many of you have said that after a few months the media goes bad, well we'll just see about that. I take care of my stuff (not saying you guys don't) but if indeed the discs go bad, then I'll know why. Until then, LONG LIVE MEMOREX!

I've never even seen a TY coaster let alone a good one, so I can't comment on those. However, have experienced Memorex and....it wasn't as good for me as it evidently was for you. :-)

Yeah...that's true...I know that I will probably get a bad set eventually, so I am prepared for it. But in the meantime I really like using them. So they are good for me.
