hmm...i gues im considered a no0b too lol... anywayz im just gettin back to that toxicOS post i had earlier any help ?
Ofnir1 i think you mentioned something about DMS4 and yeah being a no0b i dont know what that is ... :|...lolz so some help if you guys dont mind?

Lol I didn't mean it like that man. I don't consider everyone with the newbie title a total n00b lol. Sorry if I made it seem that way.

But the DMS4 is a modchip, they have the lite and pro versions. And ToxicOS is like the bios for it. I'm not really in the know about it, I just know that if you have both of those a lot of games will be playable from the HDD.

I think you can install it by flashing the BIOS.

Someone made ToxicOS as an .ELF file, so you can install that with the memory card exploit if you want, it works just as good too. I have it and it's works great, I can finally play Tenchu: Fatal Shadows of the HDD now lol.

um nope...totally unmodded PS2 here except the broken tray cover ROFL ...no chips
and um you mind tellin me where i can find that .ELF?

I got a broken tray cover too lol.

Here's the link for the .ELF file, it's a version of HDLoader with the ToxicOS 0.2 code-core.

Also, before I got this, I was using regular HDLoader, and I just had to push the reset button once and it went into standby mode. With this version, you have to hold the reset button to put it in stanby mode.
