hey if you want psp back grounds for the menue go to www.psp-hacks.com to get them. download the psp personalize. then go to the turtorial and it will show you wat to doo

hey man sup? anyways once you download pspersonalize are you getting two folders(pspersonalize and pspersonalize%)? if you are then cool...place these two folders into the "game" folder of your psp, then all you have to do then is find a wallpaper that you like(making sure it is the correct size,.bmp) then rename it for the month you want to use it..i.e. 07=july, and place the pic on the first menu you get when you plug your psp into your comp...the one that has just "PSP" and maybe "MS_ROOT" in it...once that is done..unplug your psp from the comp..go to the game save area on the psp(under the "umd") and you should have a corrupt file and a kxploit file(by psp dev)..then go to that launcher and hit x...you should get a black screen asking if you want to flash 07.bmp to memory...click O...then it should say finished...then hit home and it will take you to your main menu and your pic should be there...good luck ;)

IT WORKS PErfectly. THE JACKASS'S AT PSP HACKS SAID THE RENAMED BITMAP HAS TO BE 07.BMP, but they really have to be just 07. that is the exact problem everyone is getting, we got it. all the credit for explaining goes to evnflow. thanks man.

yes the backgrounds are great but the tutorial sucks. and BTW @ evnflow, i just got the pspersonalize to work for some reason when i change the month for ex. to the 8 month it will show my changed background but then when i change it to 9 it is a blank white screen. then i reselect the 9 and it appears, not a very big prob becuase it is easly passed.

i'm glad you got it to work...solargame...i'm going to try the hexedit on lumines to try the sound out...hopefully it will work(it's got to be tomorrow though..at work...you said you had to put 08 to get it to work..that's some crazy sh*t...ohh well at least it is working good luck to all on there adventures..and remember with warranty you can mess up your psp(hehe) gotta love those warranties...and remember if you run out of room on your memory card just put it on your comp to clean up some room, you can always put it back onto your memory card...now if i can only get this dayum kxploit to work on some other eboot files..keep getting errors..gonna have to work on it ;)

uglyogre..i sent you a pm, are you geting two folder on your "game"(under "umd") on your psp, one should be corrupt data and the other a launcher?

i'm not quite sure i know that i bought the $15 one from eb games and they told i could drive behind a truck to there store and they would give another, even so i would take a magnet to it and tell them it quit working,hehe or at least drop it on the ground till it busted then take it up there ;) lol

hey evnflow...got a question...well i followed your steps...but what game folder are you talking about...do you mean save data...or do you have to make a folder called "game" and transfer that folder to the "save data" folder...and then put psppersonalize and pspersonalize%... i renamed the pictures to 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,10,11,12...well i need to know where to put my bmps at...which folder...MP_ROOT or PSP...also i went to the game menu under save data utility and i got a corrupted data icon... but you said i would see an kxploit file by dev...or something like that...but all i saw was an corrupted data...so if you can help me..i would really appericate it...when i first saw the dirrections that you gave...i was excited...cause i already tried a million times..and kept failing...this is the farthest i have gone...so please help me out here thanks...

yeah you want to open this tool and install it on your comp..it's virus free but still you may want to scan it once you download(can't hurt to be on the safe side), also here is where i downloaded pspersonalize from and what i am going by, http://www.psp-hacks.com/downloads.php, from this file once extracted you should have "MS1", "MS2", and a readme.text file(this was used for the memory swap, but it can be used off of one memory card(with the tool provided in the first link)...ok ok i got a lil' off track back to the project...open up "sei psp tool"(the first link), go to the name box and put in "PSPERSONALIZE"...then go to the box below it should say "PBP FILE"..click on the box to the right(with the 3 dots), click on "from file" find the file where your extracted pspersonalize too(ooh yeah if you need the password, it is "1up")click on "MS1", it will go to folder "psp", double click on it, it will go to another folder "game", double click on it, it will go to ANOTHER FOLDER "pspersonalize", double clik on it(dayum that's alot of work,lol), there should be an "EBOOT.PBP" file in it...double click for the last time and it should put it into the box on the sei psp tool...then go to the box below that "PSP UNIT" select what drive you psp is put too...then click on generate...then export to 1.5(u.s) or 1.0(japan)...it should put it too your psp...go to the "game" folder in your psp, it should be in the same folder as the music, photo, and save data folders...it's called game...if not just make one(too make on don't highlight any folders and the option should appear in the left listings), once you double click on the game folder you should have a two files listed "PSPERSONALIZE" AND "PSPERSONALIZE%"...there your done with that part....now for your pics...take the pics(the ones you named, for example 07) and put them on the same screen as "PSP" and "MS_ROOT" they should not be put into any folders just on the very first screen you get when plugging your psp into your comp...make sure that these pics are within the guidelines

<= 150KB in size
<= 300x170 resolution (it can be smaller in resolution doesn't have to be dead on, just makes it look better and fit if dead on)
then once you have your pics on your psp and pspersonalize put to your "game" folder...your done with that part...now back out of usb mode and go to the far left of the menu screen of your psp and go to "Memory Stick", hit x andyou should have an icon for pspesonalize pop up, along with corrupt data(this is good you want this corrupt data), click x on the psp icon, and you should get the psp(bright) screen and it will fade to a black screen asking you to flash the pic you put to the psp (example 07.bmp)(you didn't put the .bmp it will do it on its own)...hit ok (i believe it is o) and the screen will go black and then it will say finished...if it doesn't go to the main menu screen, just hit the "home" button and select you want to quit...the background should have the pic for that month...remember you only name the picture a number 07, 10, 12 etc....good luck and write back to let me know how it worked..or if you have any questions..ooh yeah you may want to print this out to have to look at while you are doing this ;)

when i do all that..i get the psp thing then i get a black screen then it goes back to the main menu and says game could not b started.
