Thanks for the code JPP, but unfortunately I get the "Can't undo" error which from what I see the wrong code has been entered too many times. Is there a way to reset so I can try the codes again? From what I hear I can only unlock by a cable, can I use bluetooth since I don't have a cable.

Or the other thing I was wondering is when I put in another sim (Virgin Mobile UK) on my phone that is locked for Cingular USA it asks for a restriction code. Is that the same code or do I get it from somewhere else? Where would I get that code in that case?

hey everyone,
i posted earlier about unlocking a 6230 but have since figured it out from reading old posts
i'm now wondering if anyone can help me unlocking a Nokia 3200b (type RH-31)
its locked to Cingular (formerly AT&T) in the US
its IMEI is 352521/00/436734/7
again, any help would be brilliant

its telling me "phone restricted" and tried a few of the codes you posted but im guessing each code is specific to each IMEI?!!!

Hi, I have nokia 6230b and I am traveling, I asked Cingualr for roaming here they said the don't have it. I want to usa my phone with a local service until while I am here, but they rejected to give me the subsidy unlock code. can you please help me

can you help me with my Nokia 6230, from O2 network UK. IMEI# 356238008807071. I try to generate the code on my DCT4Calc and it didn't do anything after i punch in the code. The number just seating right there it does not give me phone restriction is off or any error message. Do you know wat wrong with it? THank you.

hi there could someone please help me if they can unlock a nokia 6230.
I have already tried putting in the codes, but i get a message saying "cannot undo restriction". it was working perfectly with my vodafone card yesterday, but 2day all the suddenly i cannot make calls or receive calls. I admit its not my phone as i found it on saturday night in a night club.The previous owner had T-mobile connection.It also shows that i have reception with my card but i cant make calls, i can only send text msg's!! here's the rest of the details if anymore can advise or help me that would be great.

If you found the phone, then that means that someone also lost the phone. They have probably reported it to their network (T mobile) who have blocked the SIM card and blacklisted the phone causing it not to work on any networks.
i believe that the blacklisting of handsets only applies in the UK and you could put a foreign SIM in it and use it overseas but i am not certain about that.

hi just bought a new Nokia 6230b(Cingular) phone at amazon without service..
When i insert my att SIM it says phone restricted.. Please help me unlock this phone.. i have tried several times .. donno if that affects .. but it still asks for code when i power it on..
