Connecting to Internet with PSP

ok i think im havin the same problem as that gameboi dude or w/e i got th WIFI MAX wireless internet thing for my psp and i hv been trying fo like a day to get it to work i got the software loaded on to my PC then i go through all of the steps right i think and when i get done and try and test connect it says the IP Address has had an error and that it is timed out what does this mean im not stupid with this stuff but i certanly don't no what this means!!! anyone that has any clue with what im doin wrong please reply with a step by step directions ASAP!!! im gettin so cunfused PLEASE!

DUDE SERIOUSLY I HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO PATIENTS!!! CAN'T SOMEONE HELP ME IM LIKE FROM AMERICA IT SEEMS LIKE NO ONE ELSE IS I HAV A BLACK PSP BUT I HAV NO CLUE WHAT VERSION IT IS?????????!

go to you computer control panel and look for "network and internet conections" then go to "wireless network setup wizard" and keep going thourgh until you find your net

I HAD AN INTERNET CONECTION BUT THEN IT JUST STOPED WORKING.

alright i set my network settings to the way many people have told me nd everything goes fine until the test connenction.it says there was an error with my SSID.i just leave my SSID blank.am i supposed to put sumthing there?if so wat do i put?

if u find a hot spot or borrow sum1s router , but they have a wep security is there any way to access it , it asks for wep code when doing so , or can u only use hot spots with no security

i just got my psp an i try again an again to go online it says i need so many things so if somebody can just tell me wat i need to get my psp internet goin do i need another computer do i need some code
by the way it says error occured whilr tying to connect acesess point an somthin bout a ssid code do i need the usb cord anything so i can get online plez anything

k so i just bought the PSP from my friend and i took it home and was messin around with the internet browsing and i followed the intrustions to set up a network connection and i was able to get it to work off the wireless cable internet connection we have here at my house.....i was able to go to si.com and myspace.com and all that, now wat im wondering is if theres any hidden charges there hiting me with right now?? please let men know, thanks

u do not have to pay a dime for psp internet except for the router of curse but u can use ur nabers if they have one

My PSP keeps on saying "the attempt to obtain the IP address timed out" ive been trying to get on the internet for days now and it gets past the access point but then when it trys to get the IP Address it takes a few seconds and it says the operation has timed out..how do i fix this ?

The same thing happens to me. It always says "It Timed out"!!! >:(

i have wireless internet i can pick up the connection and then when u put the security in its the wpa key and i cant find it anywere ive tried using my wep key aswell ):
