@mrsilly69-
Check your "Write Speed" in DVD Decrypter before burning a DVD. Many, if not most, including myself, recommend setting your write speed no higher than 4x. This may take care of the pauses, skipping, and freezing type errors.

@BDJCNP-
There are some great and pretty easy to understand guides here, especially for DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. Once you get the hang of it, it'll be almost second nature. Just a matter of putting in a DVD and clicking a couple of times and you're done. Just be patient and expect a little trial and error ;-)

sorry guys..i didnt mean to sound upset, i wasnt upset...and i actually know exactly what i have to do..i read the dvd iso in decrypter, then create a file on my hard drive using shrink, then i have to create and iso for decrypter using shrink and then burn with decrypter...for some reason i cant just go straight to the iso part..it says file being accessed by another program..but if i do it this way first it works fine..one extra step but oh well. maybe someone could still figure out how to eliminate that step..what may be going on?? thanks again

@nanzabar -

- as i advised in my very first reply - untick the 'Windows XP recording on this drive' option on your DVD Burner like this -

- as XP is keeping a hold of the Burner, hence your 'accessed by another program' errors
