Late post - success following aminon's guide. Didn't understand it all at first but afterterwards it produced a good disc. Roughly a gig smaller as advertised - Thanks to aminon.

the order doesnt matter.you could put them in any order you want.i mean the system and slus files were suppose to be last but i put them in first and my backup works just like the original.

for this step:
Seventh - Now just sit back and let it build, oh maybe 15 minutes or so. When it's done you'll have about 7 new files on your desktop. From here close cddvdgen and isobuster if you haven't already.

i dont get 7 files i only get 4 and their names are:

f4 > This is around 3 gigs
f4.lst
f4.ims
f4.ims

am i doing something wrong?

the first files saved on cdvdgen should have the extention .iml not .ims.you put the wrong extention on them.

when i try and rebuild using Nero and when i try and drag and drop the data file i get a message saying "The File"DATA_P.FS" is larger than 2gb and therefore cannot be stored as an ISO file system.
everyone should understand that Nero will not accept a "single" file over 2 gb as stated.
you have to use cd/dvd gen instead

PS2NFO now has a program that patches the ISO.
Has anyone have the game freeze for 10 seconds in some of the ingame cutscenes I don't know what it is causing, I burn it at 2.4x onto a Verbatim DVD+R

Your e-mail address is the funniest thing I ever seen you need to throw some xx's in there and maybe SSJ or sepinroth. Yes the patch works fine.
