I seen that guide meant nothing too me, it was bunched up, lost me in the first sentenced, need to be explaind more thoughly for people like me can understand, images dont help unless there is writing/understanding to it and not the image. Tiik me 2 days to track down info on how to rebuild ps2 game's, took it all and made it into that, and then tested it with my dvd's!

i completely agree with hursty wtf is ur problem...
i dont think u have any right to criticize ppl and things on this forum..first of all there have been a number of threads related to this game and solutions on how to fix them...and ive seen most of them...they are very very simple to understand and follow...and u hv to b kidding...images...u cant understand if ther isnt writing? what...are u in pre school or somethin..cmon man...try and appreciate the time and effort ppl put out here to help others and maybe try and rephrase or change ur way of asking help...it annoys me alot that ppl like u cant appreciate the help ppl offer..read through the forum again.if u dont understand..post a question..dont criticize...sorry im being a lecturer but i think u need to have a lil more respect for the ppl round here...

maybe i should of refrased that, it was too hard for me or anyone else to understand what you were talking about, needed to be more clear, than how you put it! I read it about 2-3 times messed up 2-3 disks and still went though forums, so it didnt help me at all!

That's odd, because I searched for hours on the internet, hunting topics on duplicating PS2 games, found this site, and found the "how-to's" posted in this thread. After gathering the necessary software, I had a game duplicated successfully with in the first hour - first attempt.
I didn't see anything mis-leading, confusing, or even puzzling. It looked like one of the how-to's I whip up for my techietalktown yahoo group. High five's to those that presented us with the how-to's.

Hi peeps. Newb question lol. I've been having the same problems as you guys with the F4 game, but my ps2 is modded with the DMS3 modchip. I've heard of others with the DMS4 chip experiencing the same. Does anyone know if any of these SM guidelines work for modchipped PS2's as well?
/me is dying to play this game :D

I finally made a perfect copy of Fantastic 4. I tried 3 times and ended up with 3 coasters. Go to swapmagicfix.com and there is a patch that will fix the iso you have of fantastic 4 so it will work on ur ps2. Its in rar format tho, so you will have to dl WinRAR.

hey everyone..
i knw this isnt really related to the whole thread...
but yah i wasted like 3-4 dvds to play this game...went thru the trbl of rebuilding and stuff...but i didnt really like the game that much...its not what id expect from fantastic four..i think there are many places where they could have improved gamepay..out of 5 i give this game 2...

Special note about the fifth step, someone had the same problem I did; not reading close enough. You must get the wnaspi32.dll file from DLL-files.com if you don't have it. Simply put it in cd/dvd gen 2.0 folder in your program files. I was only getting two files (f4.ims and f4.iml). and the recording unit controller would not start, I would just get an ASPI Driver error, re-read and thought, duh. Its always the simple parts.
