What other game titles are you talking about snaker?

In my mind i have the upcoming games "Prince of Persia 3,Resident evil 4,fatal frame 3/project zero 3 and some other games" and we must not forget the games "god of war and gran turismo 4" because if it wasn't sonix and i thank him very much for this i think we would not be able to extract the files part2 and layer 1 vol.I think that in the future we can't wait for other people to make those dll files for us.If you have seen the munge-o-matic wants only some dll plugins to work but now sonix is closing the site and as you see it would not be always someone to help us.We must try on our own so i asked if someone knows the way to extract/rebuild some types of files(also and bin files in lot of cases like kessen 3) that i have seen, that contain the pss files.Because i have no idea about this i don't know if it is difficult and maybe it is very difficult.If we knew how to make those dlls!!Sonix also supported us with some good stuf like console media patcher,the downsampling tool and apache 2,3 which we can use in the future.Thanks sonix.

We must not forget that DVD9 costs, but a DVD5 is really cheap.I don't know if in some other countries dvd9's are cheap but in myne dvd9's cost 12 euro and a DVD5 1 euro and as i see all the upcoming games are going to be on dvd9's.

Hey i'm trying 2 make an iso with dvd decryptor but my comp has a maximum file size setting of 4.1 gb how do i make it bigger so i can have just 1 file.
any help would b much appreciated cheers

hey, i followed Black Ice's steps to backing up PS2 DVDs, turns out my final ISO is too large to burn with Nero. it tells me to burn as UDF isntead, what should i do?

What procedure is this? UDF I have never heard of that out of my 100+ Back-ups that I have done! (Have 3 kids) :-)
*Make ISO with Decrypter into HD "MODE-ISO-READ" "DESTINATION"
*Burn with Decrypter from HD to DVD! "MODE-ISO-WRITE" "SELECT ISO SOURCE IMAGE" clink on BURN!
*Does get any simpler than that>?

then you have to use cd/dvd gen instead
you do need to rebuild the iso right???

this thread is about rebuilding games,not a straight back up
nero wont accept a single file over 2 gb(udf/iso option in Nero burning rom) when rebulding the iso,but cd/dvd gen will

OKAY, I GOT TO STEP 5 IN BLACK ICE'S INSTRUCTIONS. WHENEVER I PRESS RECORD, IT SAYS "TOO SHORT LOCATION LENGTH. (LESS THEN 5000 SECTOR)" CAN ANYONE HELP ME GET PAST THIS STEP PLEASE. IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!! THANKS!!!

people I need help big time and I don't no where to post for it...
I have Swap Magic 3.6, and my PS2 is open so you can say its Flip-Top
FIRST GAME EVER I burnt on my DVD writer was "The Puncher" and it works perfectly, right after it I burnt Driver 3... However, that does not work... it loads on to a black screen and that is it, the CD keeps spinning but nothing happens!
Today I rented "Tekken 5" & "Batman Begins" ... copied them the same way as I did puncher, but this time it tells me *Not A Valid PS2 CD*
I?m confused... the files on the original DVD-CD and the backup are identical, what the hell could be the problem? I need serious help, because I am being stressed and pissed and annoyed by this!
If you must know:
-Used DvD-Encrypter
-Read the game on to C:/ Drive
-Burnt The ISO File that was extracted to the C Drive at 4x & 2x
-DVD-R being used x8 speed Samsung pleomax
-Sony double layer DVD writer with 16x speed and the whole deal!
But yea... I did the steps over n over for all other games, but only the first "The puncher" worked... =S
PLEAS HELP SOMEHOW, anything would be great! Thanks

Renting and burning it illegal, so dont tell to many ppl u do it coz u get fined, i backed up my tekken 5 and it works perfect i just used DVD Decrypter and i had no problems at all i have done all my 11+ games and the only ones i have really had trouble with was god of war and shadow of rome but there's guides on here and i got them done and now all work like the real thing

What media are you using? i know i know, everyone is different to another, but just curious!

I get DVD+R datalot from warehouse they r like cheap as $30 for a pack of 50 DVDs but they r only 1-4x burning speed but tht dont mind me. Yeh shadow of romes a wicked game but i had the sneaking shit in it.
