ok so ur telling me u have a modded xbox and u want ur normal dash back ok use AID 3.0 for soft mod and slayer for hard mods how u get these u ask uTorret download go to google type uTorret....

how do you get the linux program out of your computer into the mem card even though there is no cords that allow you to do so

ok i think i have softmodding down...you basically need to use action replay or something of the sort to transfer the save file of one of those games to your xbox then install linux or an OS by using the game for the operating system.

But what i want to know is how to install a whole new harddrive. my friend uses unleashedx and he says that is the dashboard and OS so i want to use it as well...but he won't tell me how to put all the stuff on the harddrive, like where, and what, and where to get unleashedx. do u buy it? i want to take out the xbox harddrive and then put in a bigger one with unleashed x or evo x installed.

yah u got it down
i dont know how to get a larger harddrive
i think i heard someone say you can download it
but im not sure
if u do mod
i cannot stress enough that u do everything perfectly and u BACKUP EVERYTHIN!!!!!!!
i didnt back something up now i cant access my dashboard and i cant play on live
so be careful and precise when installing the mods and stuff



when u mod u get a choice between the evo x and the unleash x dashboard.
i recommend the unleash x

You don't really have to know how to do anything for softmodding. Just follow this tutorial to softmod.

Then once you have softmodded, you can put a new HD in your xbox. by using this tutorial.

u get aid from u torrnet auto installer duluxe ok its ganna be an rar file so ur ganna need 2 extract it into an iso and burn it onto a disk..

umm thanks guys. So to clear it up, i should backup and softmod the ms hdd and then install linux on the new hdd and switch it. but when did u install the dashboard on the new hdd? and Is it also possible to restore the original dashboard and os to the ms hdd? so then i could just use the new hdd for everything liek movies and emulators and then when i want to play online, i can switch to the ms hdd?

and as a sidenote, i think my friend just used the new hdd as the secondary hdd on his PC then put all the files on it and then switched it with his ms hdd. is that possible?

sorry for all the trouble...my friend isn't too clear and after a week, i decided to consult ad.
