I have made 4 coasters trying to burn this. I have tried DVD Decrypter read/burn ISO, Nero 6 read and burn , and a combination of the two. I am using Verbatim DVD-R's writing at 2x, although they are 8x DVD-r's. I tried patching it, thinking that may help to no avail. I am using Swap magic on a older ps2 that has never had any problems burning games except mvp 2005 and madden 06. I havne't changed my setting from what normally works (the defaults). Any ideas?

OK, well i did some more research about ea games and still I have problems. I have used EA patch NEO and another one. I still get the same swap magic 2.0 error (turns green, then blue). I am using verbatim (mitshu chem corp) dvd's burning at 8 speed. I tried rebuilding it, but i'm not sure if i did that correctly (not enough literature on what exactly you are to do). so I've made about 9 coasters now, and still no solid back up......any body have help for burning ps2 ea sports games?

no patch no nothing, download it, and burn, or rent and create an image file then burn. Use DVD Decrypter, ive burned 10000 games without 1 mistake, burn at 2x, don't be greety. It works fine, people try to complicate shit, its all the same, nice and easy.

Wow, you are fortunate, that usually works for all games prior to mvp baseball 2005. But the ea games if they do load are choppy, take forever to load, etc. My most successful version yet used dvd decrpter , patched with asa and burnt with alcohol....and does not work well at all (choppy , and so on). Any more help? I burn at 2x and use verbatim dvd-r's. It's swap magic 2.0. I've never had problems b4 except for mvp and madden

Usually, I burn with DVD Decrypter at 1-4x, and I use verbatim DVD-R. The game wasnt choppy at all, it worked perfectly fine. And I mean perfect..P.E.R.F.E.C.T

I have a version 1 ps2 and I have tried EVERYTHING. REbuld, patch, rebuild with patch, different patches. Dvd decrypt, alcohol, Nero, and so on. No luck. Using verbatim dvd-r's burning at 2x which always works for NON - EA games. I've given up

I have a copy of Madden '06 I borrowed from a friend as well as one I downloaded. The one I downloaded, instead of having one iso file like usual or whatever it has a bunch of files after I extracted it. How do I burn that using Alcohol 120% because I heard that works.

Hey Big News

If you rebuild it it is in perfect working order just follow the street v3 totorial and you should be fine. No more audio problems or freeezing

The link to street v3 rebuild tuttorial http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/173020

There is dummy files in the game, whitch causes these problems
and rebuilding it fixes it.

Madden Lover,
Grant

DUKE487: download and install winrar and open the first numbered file and extract if to your desired location it will extract oll of the files into 1 iso

ok guys this worked for me...and my game used to lag..so try it and see what happens..you need to programs isobuster and Nero burning rom 6

1. download isobuster ( u can find it on isobuster.com )
2. on isobuster go to file - open image - and click on ur madden06.iso
3. highlight all the files and right click extract objects
4. make a new folder called madden06 on desktop and place them there
5. now open Nero and go to make new compilation and click on dvd rom (udf/iso)and click new
6. right click and go to add files. and go to your madden06 folder and make SURE YOU ADD THEM IN THIS ORDER

1. system.cnf
2. slus_212.13
3. dnas280.img
4. system
5. online
6. netgui
7. game
8. eacn
9. burnout
10. cnf
11. data

that way data folder wil be the first one on the list but the last folder added.. the file size should stil be around 3.2 g...then go to burn and use write speed at 2x that way its not to fast or not to slow..after burning the game...if ur using swap magic put that in and load madden06 and press x and it should work without lagging..or if u have a mod chip do whatever u do for that...
