Use the add supported version its free. While using Bearshare to find App/Archives it is important to type exact file names "copy and Paste" and hope the right people are online. Most important have a high speed internet server and patience. These files are RARe lol, so allways save a copy in a shared file if you use bearshare for your personal use and your peers.
Bailyboy I don't think there are any links, but you might get lucky.
I don't think I saw ltools_v1[1].7.5_SC_NTSC "copy and paste" on mIRC x bins, I guess its a good resource, I got booted.......Check out euraisia.nu Afterdawn.com I don't have to mention, but check out teammodders.com xboxscene.com, and get a printer if you don't like reading your monitor.

when you soft mod the xbox can u go on back on to your 1st made account on xbox live? cuz i no u need to make a new account if u wanna mod people up and ull get banned from matchmaking or something but if i do softmod it can i ever go back to my old name without getting banned?

That site sucks dude..It is freewebs..Come on dude you know better than this and there isn't even a tut on how to softmodd on it..Besides this sites tut is the best!!!!!How about if you are so good you edit your post and help people out.....

Ok well I was reading this tutorial over and I saw that you guys needed a usb splice or what not like a usb to xbox so I got a link. But i know how creaky and AD feel about posting links unless they promote the thread so I'm going to post it and if creaky or any other AD members do not like it then please respond or delete it. It fits in the controller port and the other side is a female usb adapter hope this helps! http://www.jandaman.com/games.mvc?p=usbxbox&Category_code=XBOX But then again, by experience, if you put a jump drive into one of these things it formats it so this would mean that the XBox and your computer have different formats so I don't know if you could transfer stuff but whatever.

I give you an "A" for effort but I wouldn't exactly call your method the ultimate softmodding guide. Seems kinda tedious to me. I have read plenty of modding tutorials around here and they all have one thing in common unnecessary steps. A homemade cable and AR are not necessary items to do a softmod and I will leave it at that.
Proud owner of an original release day V1.0 Xbox w/ Xenium ICE SP, Xenium 2.3.1 OS, w/ Avalaunch, Evox, and XBMC dashboards.
I can mod an Xbox in 3 minutes or less!

the linux save does not come on ARMAX. and i'm pretty sure you can't download it from Codejunkies anymore.

you might have the wrong version of MechAssault. you should just use Splinter Cell, it's fast and easy, and is all-version compatible.

you have to completely erase all the traces of the softmod and return to the state that your XBOX was in before the softmod.

i don't know, that's a pretty strange problem. try unistalling the softmod and installing it again. if the problem persists, you might have a bad file.
@ softmodd
i have tried doing what you have done. it's hard, and most of the time doesn't work. you have to have specific jump drives, and keep having to change data and stuff.

you don't connect your XBOX to the computer. you connect a memory adapter that comes with Action Replay software to your computer.

i didn't say there was need of a homemade cable in my tutorial. you've obviously misread it. and i'm glad you gave me an "A" for effort, but i really don't need you critiquing my work and posting something almost totally irrelevant to the topic.

if you need help softmodding, GOTO PAGE 1 AND FOLLOW THE STEPS. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO READ, GO FIND THE LOCAL WAIF AND PAY HIM IN COOKIES TO READ IT TO YOU.
