I'm currently using dvd xcopy gold along with dvd decryptor and thinking about purchasing either anydvd or dvd international software. I was wondering if anyone has purchased dvd international and what their experience has been.

I do not have DVD international, but do have AnyDVD. AnyDVD is a great tool. It is perfect for drag and drop copying. I use it if there are too many intros in a movie and want to start with the menu. It is much faster than editing an IFO.
DVD Decrypter is still good enough that you do not need to use anything else, except for DVD Shrink, or some other compressing program.

a copy and paste from my post
As for Platinum V 5.0.0.11 and Platinum V 5.0.0.13 they will not copy sony movies.
Some time it will copy sony movies with AnyDVD in the back ground.
I and baldbear have been beta testing platinum Platinum V 5.0 since it came out.
We will let you know when it can copy the "Sony ARccOS protection" and ?Settec ALPHA-DVD protection"
$85 dollars is way to much to pay for a program that does not work.

I guess my problem with buying either is that I don't get a disc, only a download that can be used a few times. With AnyDVD, how many activations do you get?

AnyDVD does not activate it only registers. After purchasing you get a file that registers it. All I think it does is make a change in the registry.

AnyDVD & CloneDVD work the same, 21 days FRE use, buy either or both & you get a "Key" to register them with. You can save AnyDVD to a Floppy, CloneDVD to a CD-R. Or, you may put BOTH on ONE CD-R. Your "Keys" should be SAVED to floppies and put in a SAFE place. I have re-formatted my HDD a couple times and BOTH programs WILL re-register again. No need for a disc. Make your own. Once you have the "Keys". You're set!
Use The Best Media for The Best Burns! TYs, Verbs,(Made in Taiwan) Sony MIJs (YUDEN000 T02), Sony Made in Taiwan DVD+R 16x, Maxell MIJ, RITEK G05.

There is no program that is better at defeating copy protection than AnyDVD .. It works so quietly in the background that sometimes I forget that it's even there .. a.n.d .. it works on problem CDs, also

and charger16 AnyDVD works best with CloneDVD 2 and if you buy both you can get a combo deal if you type in "afterdawn" for 49 bucks which is a way better deal than x copy that doesnt even work on alot of movies plus the picture quality is better and AnyDVD updates for life

Or you can drag and drop the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders. It takes about 25 or so minutes to complete. You do not need to click anything on the program. Once it is loaded, that's it.
You can choose to use another program to rip while AnyDVD is running, but it may cause conflicts. I still think Decrypter is better and a must have tool. It is an all in one tool. It is an image burner, disc identifier, and DVD Ripper. You can also use it to Demux.
While AnyDVD is more up to date, there are probably not any movies out that Decrypter cannot handle.

I agree, DVD Decrypter is an excellent program .. I have a couple discs that it wouldn't crack (some Disney for my grandkids) .. AnyDVD also cracks the occasional CD that needs special attention
One of the reasons that I purchased AnyDVD is that DVD Decrypter will never be updated anymore and AnyDVD isn't going to get any cheaper .. I figured either now or later a.n.d I'm compulsive
DVD Fab Decrypter is a free decrypter that is getting updated
