How to tell if AnyDVD is running while in "Selective Startup"

So my computer boots and runs faster, I went to "Run" nad went into msconfig, and selected "Selective Startup". The little red fox that used to be on the tray at the bottom right of the screen is now not visible.

Will AnyDVD always run in the background, regardless of start up?

If the "little red fox" is in the tray AnyDVD is running, otherwise it is not. If you want it to startup just double click on the icon and it will open. If you want it to startup when you boot up then open the program select the Settings Tab and then the Program Tab and check autostart.

just downloaded "TRIAL" version of AnyDVD from their website...cant seem to get it to do anything...been thru all the settings and it will read to me the parameters of the dvd in drive but no options to start/run/rip....unlike platinum or decrypter...some of which runs automatically...but hollywood has outdated them...since platinum was only able to use decrypter for a while...so been hearing alot about AnyDVD...thing is cant get to to run on trial...although prompts say use all you can for 21 days lol....some trial and support takes up to 48 hours and they ask ALOT of personal info for that...faq's dont cover it either...can anyone help me? i have no programs to back up what i bought last week let alone 2/3 months ago

AnyDVD is suppose to appear to not do anything. It runs in the background while you use shrink, decrypter, whatever. Do you see the little red fox down in the system tray (bottom left corner)? If so, it is there and running.

Did u manage to fix the problem... otherwise if is still does not load when u start up windows automatically... Just put the file in your startup folder... and it should load regardless then... If ur still havin problems remove AnyDVD and try running DVD43... It basically does the same thing...

if you still have a problem with AnyDVD go back into AnyDVD programs and make sure enable AnyDVD is checked,auto start checked, auto ck for new AnyDVD version checked,show info screen checked.
