Ya the AR MAX is real with memory card and it worked of my old/fat ps2 untill I tryed it on my slim. I cant play on my old ps2 so I cant see if it still works on the old ps2. the AR MAX memory card has no memory when I put it inside the magic gate slot.

Ok guys I looked all over the forums and I couldn't find anything. My problem is that when I put the original AR MAX to get cheats for an original ps2 game it doesn't work. Now what doesn't work is the following... #1 I put AR MAX inside ps #2 loads ps2 logo indicates that its reading the disk #3 it goes on the loading before the actual main menu #4 it tells me insert AR MAX hardware (AR MAX memory card) #5 I put the memory card and the little window that reads "put your hardware" just stays there forever ! I don't know watts the problem in the ps2,disk or the f***ing AR MAX memory card? let me know what you think.

did you follow the steps in the link I posted? I could be wrong, but don't you need ARMAX and swap magic to load backups?

Are we talking about mod chips or Ar Max?

okay nevermind you wanna use armax for cheats. Dunno I'd tried googling ARMAX and didn't come with much, course I'm half awake so that probably doesn't help.

It sounds like you're doing it correctly. There really isn't much possibility for human error with ARMAX. Perhaps your ARMAX is defective or the ARMAX memory card is defective. If it doesn't start working properly you may wanna return it.

Yeah I can't wait to get a DVD burner so I can back up my PS2 games, DBZ included. Never card for DBGT. Z was awesome. My friend should be loaning me his external burner soon, so Hell yeah. Obviously with the picture url in the middle there. That's how you post pics. If you want to post the same one everytime, go to my account and edit your signature to display the pics in the format mentioned above.

Follow the guide above you'll get it. I don't wanna post too many messages like this that take up server space, and get yelled at by the moderator's.

I know a way to not void your v12 ps2 and still open it, but it is risky, when you open the console, press the clips open at the front and leave the sticker at the back intact, i was so close to doing these but the sticker came of because i pulled to hard, but what u can do is use a dark black permanent marker and draw over the word void that comes up, that is what i did, it looks as if it was never opened.
