thats basically just a level maker. i would love a level maker. anyone ever play timesplitters 2 or 3? the level maker in that game is about exactly what you talking about, and you can play the levels u make online and share them under your user name even on the ps2.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yea i think that would be pretty cool but the only thing that i really want is co-op online i liked it in splintercell chaos theory.

Except wasn't TimeSplitters' editor just for MP maps? I'd like it for both SP and MP maps. Online co-op is virtually guaranteed; I'm surprised it wasn't in H2. Maybe it'll be in H2 PC. To nzmaori: the release date is unknown, because Bungie hasn't even confirmed the existence of Halo 3. Most speculation has it releasing around the same time the movie does (i.e. summer '07).

no, you could to storyline maps too, i made like 2. it was fun, and everyone enjoyed playing it. i also made many mp maps too.

what you said about choosing ai and stuff reminded me of perfect dark origional (maybe pd0 too). where you could like play a level and just beat the hell out of "meat" simulants... what a fun time. but yea level editor is what i meant. haha like putting 100's of grunts in one room and throwing a few sticky grenades :) sounds like fun 2 me!! oh man the possibilities (plus if you could download top rated user levels from x-box live)(not to mention the various halo level maker competitions there would be). i think it could add a LOT of playability to the game! which is important cuz its the last in the trio... it is the last in a trio right??

We don't know yet if it's the last in a trilogy. It depends on the direction Bungie takes the storyline. They could answer all the questions that H2 gave us and end the series, or they could answer some and create a few more to keep it going. I'm kind of hoping for the latter, but I'm ok with either decision.

yeah in ts:fp you can pick exact ai for bots as in where they walk, what they are looking for, what gun they use, and what type they are. i love how there's like 150 different playble charachters.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Wow, I didn't know it was that detailed. Something like that in H3 would be great. It'd be great if you could control their skill level too, and not just by difficulty level (like easy or legendary), but by a ratings system like in sports games. You could set adjust their accuracy, damage they can take, how good they are with each weapon, etc. and create a mission that makes legendary look like child's play. Oh, and I know this won't happen, but it would be awesome: what if you could upload missions to Live with achievements built in? It'd have to be restricted the points you could award, but that would make H3 infinitely replayable.

it would be good if you could play a ctf game with just bots takes away the need for friends
Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity but I am not so sure about the universe.

omFG yes!! thats what me and my friends always hated about halo and the old cs.. i want to play with bots. they are a nessesity, but i bet ms omitted them from halo 2 to make ppl get live.

Yes, PDZ has bots. They're pretty good, I guess, but they're not as fun as human competition, and they can only be used for Deathmatch games, so no Dark Ops mode with bots.

not to bust ur bubble but that last convo can go in a PM bc nobody else cares.
halo 3 the game should come out before the movie, just my opinion.
i would like halo 3 to end the current convenant against human halo ring battle but i would also like it to end leading into another story for another day like wat halo CE did. that conflict was over the single halo ring and ended that conflict but lead into the rest of the war. halo 2 ended without concluding much of nething. halo 3 needs to finish wat halo 2 did not and lead into another story.
