u know what made me made about halo 2 is that they said they were going to put an atv in but they said it didnt fit right and couldnt be done but then you look at games like grand theft auto with like hundreds of cars it just makes me made

meh im sure halo 3 will make up for no atv in halo 2, but seriously, i cant think of a good place for an atv in the halo 2 campaign. and it didnt look that cool in the "making of halo 2" dvd that came with the game. plus you can't really compare halo with gta (2 entirely different monsters).

halo is not the biggest game in the world, and not everyone likes it. ill play it on lan or on the same system with someone, but its no where near good enuf to buy a system over. the 360 just doesnt have enuf killer games for me to consider it at all right now. and with the prices of accessories being sold from 4-1000 times thier value i dont think thats gunna help me either. and its said you guys would sit there and watch "the making of" when the game is right there. i mean come on, does it really matter?
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

yea but its not just that they didnt put the atv in its that they didnt let you fly pelicans and all of that stuff too.

just wana know arnt you guys sick of talking about halo 3.? well im not a betrayer cause if you check i was chating in that halo2/3 chat and this one, but i kinda quit cause its just gettin boring talking about the same things again and again, i dont mean to offend.

why would you need to fly the pelican? maybe the pilot got sick off the fish and you need to deliver the soldiers?

I havent checked this thread for a month, and when I finally do everyone seems to be feeling the same way...aww well it was fun for awhile.

haha yep this topic had a good run, but there isnt much else to say about halo 3 until it comes out or bungie tells more about it. and i watched "the making of" after i beat the game and i was like... huh this could be interesting. and it was pretty interesting.

ditto on the whole didnt reply cause of boring stuff and if anyone can get it im much more interested in the new book then halo3 news right now o and i just wanted to say if they made halo3 on xb and 360 then the graphics wouldnt be such a hit o and that doesnt matter cause i bet my left hand that it will only be on 360 lol need the other one for mor personal matters.....lol jk.......well kind of.

Dang i haven't been up here in a while and yall keep talkin bout the same thing umm somebody please come up with something new wait i will! does anybody know anything about the upcomming look master chief will have and because to me they should add alot more detail depending on environment and i hope they actually show bullet wounds.

I was just wondering something about Halo 2's storyline.
At the end of the game, Cortana stays in High Charity's Stytems so she can blow up InAmberClad if halo should activate. Why then did she not blow it up when it acctually was activated. If you stay in the control room for long enough GS wil say "Starting final countdown, and may I say recliamers, its been a pleasure to serve you both, Goodbye". This to me says that Halo is just minutes from using its weapon and destroying all sentient life. But why didnt Cortana blow it up then?

i doubt they would hold till ps3's launch if they had it done. and this is just rumor and im prety sure it is not that factual but ive heard that they postponed and/or canceled the making of it for a while. I heard that they wont come out with a HAlo 3 but a game following halo 2 with a completely different name. personally i dont believe it at all but i was wonderin if yall heard nethin.

That rumor was that the next game would be called Forerunner, and be set before Halo 1, and would supposedly answer questions about the Forerunners, the origins of the Covenant, and possibly include the storyline of the Fall of Reach. Bungie's obviously denying it, but it'd be a poor April fool's joke (http://www.errormacro.com/2006/03/halo_forerunner_article_may_be.html), so who knows, maybe it's true?
