yup sims work in other unluckt phones
my hp6515
sony ericson what ever typ it is
and in an oln nokia on and on and on
only in this new peace off s*it it wont work ...

the sims i try'd are all working in other phones
they are existing subscriptions wich work just fine in other unlockt phones
this new nokia comes from the orange shop and was bought as an orange prepaid pakage in the netherlands

The 2600 you have is only compatible with EGSM 900/GSM 1800 (APAC, E&A, LTA) If you are trying to use it in the Netherlands, it should be working if the other sims are working. How many total codes have you entered so far? It's possible that it has some sort of sim lock other than just a network lock.

it only works with the orange prepay sim all other sims dont work but
only in that phone
all the other sims work fine in my hp6515

I would like to try something. It will do no harm because if the phone is unlocked you can not re-lock it.
I would like to try three more codes. Try each code and see if it works.

If you know the risks, try this ONCE and ONLY ONCE and let us know if it works. You have only 5 tries and then it will be hard locked. After that you will need a cable thing-a-me-jiggy to unlock it. It should still work on your Network so no big loss.

Press * 4 times fast for (w) IMPORTANT
Press * 2 times fast for (+) /
and the rest of the code---

Note: Some Phones require that you to insert a non accepted sim, you will see "phone restricted", press UNDO option and enter the code in the restriction box and press enter.)
"Phone restrictions off", it's unlocked.
"Error code" wrong code.STOP tell me.
"Not allowed" or "Can Not Undo Restriction" it's hard locked. Used up all your free tries!!

I'm aware that people have had difficulties with Telstra and the 2600, but I will post if it is successful or not once I have tried the codes.
