Please Help!!! CloneDVD + AnyDVD Problems

After the burning prcess starts while using AnyDVD and Elby CloneDVD, my computer crashes and then reboots. I have only been successful on 2 dvd burns... my computer has now crashed about 15 times in a row now. PLEASE HELP, GETTING REALLY FRUSTRATED!!!

wow i would try uninstalling the programs and try something else like DVD Shrink and or DVD Decrypter if the same thing happens you have some kind of other problem with your pc if not reload CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD and try it again

I'll say try Decrypter first 'cos it consumes less computer resources.

AnyDVD can conflict with Intervideo and Pinnacle software. Do you have either of these installed?

I have tried uninstalling and reintstalling both programs and the same thing keeps happening. I do have Intervideo on my computer.

You could uninstall Intervideo and that should solve you problem or you can run AnyDVD in safe mode.

Thanks for your help. Removing Intervideo fixed my problem. However I don't have any other software to play my dvds. Any help?

Try PowerDVD its good enough to play DVD's with no probs...

If your running windows xp you should have windows media player. Then there's real player and quick time (free versions). Probably not the best out there but does the job.

After using this package for a year I now realize that you don't want a bunch of rippers installed with this app. Also Power DVD is one of the most consistant DVD players I have used in 4 years. I would remove some of the other rippers you have on the machine. Use either Power DVD or Windows media to view your movies.

I downloaded powerDVD and it works fine except i get no audio when i play dvds. If I watch a video from the internet through powerDVD i get sound. Weird... Any help will be much appreciated!

Check your DVD make sure don't have DTS checked. I have had success with using Dolby Digital 5.1 or Dolby Digital 2 channel. Also check which settings on your ripping software and check setting on Power DVD. hope that helps.

I have CloneDVD and AnyDVD installed on my computer. When I first installed it, my computer would crash so I came here and someone gave me the great advice to uninstall Intervideo DVD. After that I have had absolutely no problems whatsoever. My friend bought the exact same computer so I put CloneDVD and AnyDVD on his computer. His crashed just as mine did so I uninstalled Intervideo and it is still crashing. I tried to uninstall and reinstall clone and AnyDVD about 8 times and it still crashes. Any help???

what brand of PC is it?

i have both CloneDVD 2 and AnyDVD and Intervideo DVDCopy3 on my machine and have had NO problems at all so i disagree with that info that both programs conflit

are you getting an error message?
